El Zin American Bistro es un intento de modernizar y americanizar el concepto bistro francés tradicional. El Zin ha ganado recientemente el premio al Mejor de Palm Springs y ha sido descrito como "posiblemente la mejor comida en el Valle de Coachella" por el escritor Peter Osbaldeston del Palm Springs Dining Bible. El chef Nicolas Klontz y el director de vinos Mindy Reed han elevado el nivel de la comida elegante e informal en Palms Springs. El Zin tiene más de 450 vinos en su carta y ha ganado el Premio a la Excelencia de la revista Wine Spectator por 9 años. Way over priced and the food wasn't up to normal levels.... Oscar was great as always. Mindy the owner was pleasant and welcoming. Jason was of but we prefer Chip....

Dear William,Thank you for being a valued regular guest at our restaurant. I'm truly sorry your meal wasn't up to your usual expectations. As I made my rounds to each table, I would have been happy to address any concerns had they been brought to our attention. While we appreciate your feedback, I feel compelled to address your comments about our server. Our team sacrificed their Christmas Day to ensure our guests could enjoy a special dinner. Jason, dedicated a full 9-hour shift to provide the best possible service. We had a wonderful 3-course Christmas meal. The wine list is impressive. The service was especially wonderful, and we're grateful to Claudia for her attention. We're looking forward to coming back to try the regular menu!

Zin has consistently been an enchanting spot for gathering with friends, savoring exquisite cuisine, and enjoying fine wines. The maitre d' warmly welcomes guests with a radiant smile, setting the tone for impeccable service. The chef truly shines, crafting dishes that are an absolute delight. We ordered the buttermilk chicken dinner and the short ribs dinner. Everything was cold. Not hot, no heated plate to keep it warm. Ribs were dry, not sauce, not freshly made, chicken was over breasted and tasteless, creamed spinach was very cold and didn’t taste right. Mashed potatoes had good flavor but were not warm enough to eat. Not a busy Monday night either. They need to invest in heated plates and bring the food out piping hot. I hate so see this. I’ve loved zin for years.
