El Vons Steakhouse & Oyster Bar es un establecimiento de propiedad local situado en Edmonton que lleva sirviendo la carne de res y el marisco de mejor calidad desde 1988. El restaurante, ideal para todo tipo de clientes, cuenta con un magnífico salón comedor, 3 salones comedor privados, un salón de tono informal con ladrillo visto, una barra de bar de estilo neoyorquino de 9 metros y una barra de ostras. La Happy Hour se organiza de lunes a viernes, de 16:30 a 18:30. El establecimiento sirve el menú completo tanto en el restaurante como en las zonas de la barra de ostras, que suele disponer de 15 variedades de ostras preparadas frente a los comensales por los chefs. Además, hay una carta que comprende 30 vinos servidos en copa centrada en vinos de la Cuenca del Pacífico y Canadá. Se recomienda reservar mesa aunque se aceptan clientes sin reserva. Al salón, el patio y la barra de ostras se accede por orden de llegada, salvo contadas excepciones.

Ordered 24 oysters and it still wasn’t enough! High quality fresh oysters make Von’s worth it, never mind the incredible quality of the Ribeye. Cannot say we ought about this place! Cheers Don.

The server was very inexperienced and couldn’t recommend anything. They served the wrong drink and served old wine that tasted terrible. The steak was overcooked and marked as well done even though it was requested to be medium. And once it came back a second time was also well done. The seating is very uncomfortable. One side a bench and the other a stool??! No back so completely awkward. Very embarrassing to host a group that has not been to Edmonton before. Highly do not recommend.

We arrived late on a Thursday evening and it was pretty quiet - perfect for good conversation without having to yell across the table. Sanjay took excellent care of us, recommended delicious oysters, and provided a great, entraining atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Nothing like the south side location. This location is about 6000 sq. ft. and 75% of that is pub/ lounge. The restaurant with about 12 or so white cloth tables are separated from the pub/ lounge by a 4 ft. wall. The pub / lounge has TVs for hockey game and pub music. They knew it was our anniversary and sat us beside a table with 4-6 young kids all under the age of 5. Parents were all gathered at another table about 15 ft away. The kids were noisy which really was to be expected so we asked to be moved. They moved us over a few tables. Definitely not in any way a romantic location. We had another couple with us. They ordered the same meal, and the one came out fine with steak, veggies, prawns and mashed potatoes and the other had only the steak and veggies. When asked they had no response and after a couple of minutes gave him a couple prawns on a side plate. What about potatoes? After another couple of minutes gave him a serving of mashed potatoes. My steak was supposed to be cooked medium rare and came out medium. Just over $500 for 4 with 1 drink each and a bottle of wine. Will not be back. Oh yes, the furniture is not up to scale either.

Great ambience and delicious food. More on the expensive side, but it was great for a fancy dinner out. Wine selection was limited, but lots of cocktails. Our server Sanjay was fantastic - very attentive and professional. We were seated near the back door, and it was quite cold, but they brought a heater in, which was great. Overall would recommend!

We had such a lovely experience here. Food was remarkable. We were here for my husbands birthday, and we were not rushed at all. Highly Recommend Vons for a delightful experience

My husband and I had a great date night that included a wonderful dinner at Von’s Steakhouse & Oyster Bar. The service was awesome and we will definitely be going back.

Took my mother-in-law for her birthday with a party of 7 of us and everyone’s meal was absolutely amazing. 5 steaks were ordered and all done perfectly !! Service was excellent as the waiter made sure we were all completely satisfied. We have gone to Von’s 2 in the last month and it has been the best experience we have had in a long time. Highly recommend
