The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern has been changing the dining experience in La Crosse since 2006. By offering supreme product and hospitality, we have become a favorite of locals and a travel destination all in the same. Our menus highlight seasonal American cuisine that includes certified angus beef and fresh day-boat seafood. With a focus on the freshest foods of each season, our culinary team allows the ingredients to speak for themselves.     Had a delicious meal with my daughter before dropping her off back at college Maddy was an excellent server! We sat in a booth and my seat had a tear in it and could use some repairing.

    Always excellent food. The seasonal menu is always on point for flavor and use of the seasons bounty. Would recommend them to anyone who will listen.

    We have come here intermittently for you many years. We are impressed with some of the menu changes and options. The starters were spectacular. All four of us had the black cod entrée that was just superb. Service was very attentive.

    We had a wonderful anniversary meal, with this being our first experience at TWF. Our server was training and did an amazing job explaining everything to both us, and the trainee. The food was impeccable, especially the pumpkin gnocci recommendation. Can’t wait to return!

    This is our favorite restaurant in the La Crosee area! Always an annual event for us on our anniversary but also we try to make it on New Years Eve! Always a wonderful and welcoming experience! Highly recommend!!

    My wife had the 6oz filet. It lacked flavor and maybe was a little past medium. Lots of grease or oil (my wife asked for steamed vegetables) on the green beans, broccolini and finger potatoes caused my to have many trips to the ladies room shortly after leaving the restaurant. I had the 14oz ribeye. It was cooked perfectly to medium rare. With it I had the baby reds with chives and same vegetable as my wife. My veggies were also very greasy. My wife’s house salad was very good. I loved my pear and gorgonzola salad. My wife has a very restrictive diet and they did the best to accommodate. But we won’t return with the issues my wife had she will never want to go back. Most people can eat at this fine restaurant, just not us.
