    The food and service were very good. But having two doors open when it was below 50 degrees outside meant we were cold enough to be uncomfortable throughout the meal — even with our coats on the whole time. All we wanted to do was finish and leave. Even though we enjoyed the food, it wasn’t enough to make up for how uncomfortable we were (especially considering the prices). We don’t plan to return.

    Two of us had late lunch with fried fish and peel and eat shrimp. Both dishes were fresh and tasted great. Server was pleasant and very attentive. Would recommend

    Reservation was for a Tuesday night. Restaurant was not busy at 4:30 but understaffed. Value for the $ was simply not there. Our waitress was attentive, but working too hard given she had very little help. Too many restaurants in this high-traffic tourist area to not be a better experience.

    I LOVE this restaurant!! No trip to Savannah is complete. We started with the stuffed mushrooms. OMG! They just melt in your mouth. Then moved on the shrimp and oysters. They were crispy and delicious. But I’ll have to say my favorite was those hush puppies!! Fried crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside. This was my birthday trip and we were only in town for one night, and what a memorable night it was!!

    I eat here often when in town as the food is always good as is the service. I always have the 1lb. Shrimp peel and eat, there is something about their cocktail sauce that sets it apart from others (bbq sauce in it maybe?) Which I really enjoy. So I'll keep coming back.

    Upon entering were a little leary, it can use updating as well as a thorough deep cleaning. The Hostess was very accommodating and allowed us to choose where we sat even though they were busy. Now the food....the menu had a lot of choices so we tried a number of items. The fried fish dishes were very good as well as the crab stuffed flounder. The shrimp and lobster dish was delicious. The calamari was cooked perfectly and the fried green tomatoes also good. Will definitely return. Hopefully they address the cleanliness.

    Average food. Restaurant is not in good shape. Service was below average. Getting a check and getting out took way too long.
