Algo diferente a lo que buscábamos, es realmente un pub con una área de restaurante Bastante ambiente juvenil Comida local a la que no estamos acostumbrados

First time in UK and my first experience with pub. Waited maybe 5 minutes for somebody to come and seat us for our booked table, it was kinda busy night. After they seated us, lady gave us a menu and it contained a nice variety of food. I ordered haggis from speciality menu and my partner ordered fish and chips. With that we went for Guinness(they have a Edinburg Black which tasted great). Meal was tasty. Fish was really meaty with great chips and perfect mayo. Haggis was great, only the peppercorn sauce was overwhelming. Overall it was nice. After meal we wanted to try some whiskey. We went for their recommendation. First one they didnt had so they recommend us another. Unfortunately they didnt had also so they refund our whiskey bill and offered us one of basic ones for free. Me as not a whiskey drinker, i pretty enjoyed it.

Great atmosphere in this bar and service from all staff - particularly our server Ashley- was first class.

Had the Sunday Roast. Cut of Beef wasn't great. Very hard to chew and full of grizzle. Vegetables however were good! Just a shame the beef wasn't.

We are very disappointed to hear you did not enjoy the cut of meat we offer, it is recommended to have the bavette cut cooked medium rare as it can be chewy and difficult to eat otherwise, still this is no excuse and I will pass your comments on to the kitchen. Extremely slow service (had to wait for 15+ mins for menus), dismissive attitudes from the waitress. Roast beef was very basic for the price- not many accompaniments. Wouldn’t recommend…

Really nice ambiance but not keen on to screen in restaurant and background music not necessary. Chicken pie was disappointing with pastry flat and was more akin to a soup as swimming in gravy plus additional gravy boat and meagre portion of vegetables for sharing. Sunday roast was tasty but meat not tender

After 7 years it was a treat to come back to Scotland and eat Sundays roast at our favourite place. Even though our puddings were slightly on the darker side, we enjoyed and devoured another meal. Hopefully till next time! Cheers.
