El Pelican Club ofrece una amplia selección de platillos de Nueva Orleans y cuenta con 3 salones comedor y una amplia barra inspirada en las casas del siglo XIX del Barrio Francés. Este establecimieno está situado en la esquina de Bienville Street y Exchange Place, en pleno Barrio Francés. El propietario, Richard Hughes, y su esposa, Jean-Hughes Stinnett, han transformado una joya arquitectónica abandonada en un restaurante acogedor con una decoración que combina elementos tradicionales y contemporáneos. Cada salón tiene su propio ambiente, creado a partir de elementos tan diversos como ciprés de Louisiana pulido, pinturas contemporáneas de artistas de Nueva Orleans, grabados antiguos y bancas de cuero negro que crean un gran contrastes con las paredes de ladrillo de color crema.     Cuidado con la cuenta . Me sentí estafado pues me quisieron cobrar el vino 14 dólares más de lo que estaba en lista y habiendo pedido el menú a precio fijo quisieron cobrarme el precio por cada plato por separado. No recomiendo ese lugar para clientes de buena fe

    Bar experience is always wonderful. We have been coming here 15 years every year for our anniversary. We start at the bar…then dinner. We do the revellion dinner each year. Apparently the 3-course dinner now is only appetizer, entree and dessert. Since I don’t eat dessert I asked if I could substitute a soup for my dessert. I was told “I will work it out.” I received my soup when my husband received his dessert. When the bill came, we were charged al La carte prices rather than the revellion price for my meal. Just don’t lie to me… if you can do it, ok…but tell me the truth.

    Waiter was attentive and helpful with suggestions for sightseeing also since we are tourists. Scallops with artichokes were excellent as was my husband's Caesar gem. The ladies next to us had the salad with shrimp on it that looked even better bc had more sauce/dressing. My friend chicken was so good with it's perfect greens and bed of cornbread. Husband's fish filet was mild with good sauce. Pecan pie and creme brulee wonderful. Would definitely eat here again.

    The Pelican Club is a "go to" favorite. The food is always excellent, the service is friendly and also classy. The location on a well lit alley give the feel of a little village or neighborhood steak house. Whether we're having appetizers at the bar of seated for a full dinner, this place is consistently awesome.

    Our experience at the Pelican Club was fantastic from the moment we walked in and the hostess greeted us to the waitress, who was soft spoken, knowledgeable and on it when it came to foreseeing needs (like refilling drinks) the food came to the table hot and was outstanding! The scallops were a MUST and did not disappoint. We would definitely come back the next time we are in NOLA.

    The food was absolutely delicious! They were extremely busy, which I suppose is why the service wasn't at the level we expected, but we still had a lovely evening and will return.

    Oh. My. Goodness. The Pelican Club never disappoints! Coming here to the Pelican Club for a Reveillon dinner has become an annual family Christmas tradition. The food was incredible-we all had the gumbo, but ate different appetizers and entrees: crab ravigotte, baked oysters, and I had my favorite, the escargot. (No one makes escargot like the Pelican Club!) All were fabulous! My DIL said her filet mignon was perfect, my son’s lamb cut like butter, and my paneed red drum was just delicious. They even made a buttered pasta for my 3 year old granddaughter. ❤️ I will tell you, though, when she tasted her mom’s gumbo, she loved it so much that we wound up ordering a bowl to take home for her! Then an evening finished off by the most wonderful bread pudding and eggnog. Our server, Fallon, was so helpful and knowledgeable with her suggestions, and could not have been more pleasant. She even surpassed the wonderful service we have come to expect from the Pelican Club. Thank you so much for another memorable experience.

    Food was good but nothing memorable. Service was not on par for the price point. Server did not refill our wine glasses nor did he ask if another bottle is desired or any cocktails.
