We had a lovely meal at the Keg. Our server, Al, did an incredible job. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

I can’t count how many times I’ve been a to a Keg restaurant in various cities. One reason the Keg is a preferred restaurant for me is their consistency. The Red Deer Keg was not up to the usual standard. Service was slow. The food was average at best. The steaks at the table were not cooked to order and it seemed though the plates were under the warmer for a long time as the food was dry. Not terrible but not close to the standard I would expect from the Keg.

Our table was in the lounge and though it was comfortable, the music was a bit loud. Someone must have complained because we did notice the music was quieter after a while. The food was excellent, our server was excellent and checked in with us often. The Keg is our go to birthday restaurant and this one did not disappoint !

Red Deer Keg seems to be a popular place on a Friday night ... glad we had a reservation for 5pm. Great service! Good food. It did get a bit loud but only really noticed that as I was trying to hear my 88 year old mom. Our waiter brought a complimentary Billy Miner's mud pie for mom's birthday celebration so that was lovely!
