Very disappointed that the Keg Fallsview (formerly located in the Embassy Suites hotel) was closed on 11/3/2024 in favor of the "upscale" STK Steakhouse (the Keg is relocating nearby to the Hilton sometime in Spring 2025). So, tried the other Keg restaurant in the Courtyard Marriott (about 1.5km/1 mile away from the Embassy Suites), which we knew about but had never visited. We were not disappointed as the menu items with all our favorites were present with the same excellent quality of food and service that we experienced at the Embassy Suites' Keg. We especially like the twice baked potato side (which is increasingly difficult to find on other restaurant menus), garlic cheese bread and french onion soup appetizers and the Billy Miner pie for dessert. An excellent experience even though it is in a bit less convenient location.

We usually eat at the location that used to be Embassy Suites, which has now closed. There you had a beautiful view of Niagara Falls. This location was dark, no ambiance at all. We couldn’t even get into the restaurant without having to call the hotel’s front desk to unlock the sliding doors. We always order the same meals. This time they weren’t as good being there was no focal point. Our waitress though was outstanding.

Our order was was being rushed constantly the steak was over cooked and when brought to the table we still had our calamari appetizer not even half was done calamari was terrible not warm and rubbery. Our steak was brought out and with 15 min after bing our appetizer. They took it back and brought it back later massed potatoes where terrible steak was way over cooked and cold . Complete waste of time and money as I was celebrating my 51 birthday for Dec 21 ahead of time . Will definitely not visit this Keg again .

Our waiter Chianti was in training and was wonderful. He as well as the waitress he was shadowing provided us with exceptional service. Both had wonderful personalities and were very attentive. The food was delicious as well. So a total good experience. 👍🏻👍🏻
