The food was amazing our server we had his name is DJ he was very knowledgeable friendly and went above and beyond. This was a great & fantastic experience. The Keg is always our favourite spot.

We had our lovely valentines day dinner at the keg at the courtyard location. I've been there before and knew it was a lovely keg. Our server was pretty awesome. Super knowledgeable and very helpful specifically when it came to choosing drinks and food. So we really appreciated him. I worked at the Upper James location for almost 10 years and the keg is still my favourite restaurant. The only thing that was negative about our experience was the fact that another server happened to drop a container of au jus (totally by accident) on the floor at the table opposite to us and our table got pretty sprayed with it, including landing on my boyfriend and I. Plus, his jacket was hanging on the chair and it got pretty covered as well. The server was quick to clean up the table and replace our plates and cutlery and side plates and brought a cloth to clean the table up with and my boyfriends drink was replaced. Which was great because he got it the worst and was not super happy about it. The manager stopped over and bought our round of drinks and offered to pay for dry cleaning, which we appreciated the gesture, as his coat was pretty covered. Under the daylight today, I was able to clean it off better and it looks ok. At the end of the experience, we loved our food and our server and we left smelling pretty good (the au jus, lol). My only negative would be that while you guys did a great job, it did start the meal off a bit rocky. As my boyfriend hadn't been to the keg before I really wanted to have a special night out there with him.

I was very impressed with this location it was my first time there and it was a great experience. Food was good, cooked perfectly to request, server DJ was amazing.

The food was very good. I had the Filet Mignon with the twice baked potato (definitely recommend). The service was amazing, shoutout to Raeanne for the impeccable service. Would highly recommend.

Our.seat (booth) was.close to the entrance sonit was quite.busy and loud, so we would have preferred a quieter location being such an early reservation (4:15pm). Bread and drinks were.prompt (Chris was our server and quite good overall). The food was less appealing, the garlic mashed potaotoes for my wife were cold, however, my double roasted potatoes were perfect. My wife's french onion sirloin was to be med-well and was undercooked, hedging medium, med-rare (she was.not.impressed, but never sends food back). My T-bone (medium) was close to being on point, however, the strip portion.was med-rare and tenderloin a succulent medium. Crap cakes as an entree were.crunchy.and crisp on the bottom but.not.cooked enough overall as they fell apart and were difficult to put on a fork with tartar sauce. Additionally, $23 for 2 small crab cakes is over priced. I asked what were the house wines (red) and my server informed me of the Houses (jackson triggs.etc.) but did not advise ne of the actual wine itself (merlot/cab-sav etc...). I am a local of Niagara so either is fine, but knowing which ahead of time should be an imperative. We opted for a side of mushrooms as well (a small plate for $10) and they had very little flavour and did not pack the punch of.flavour we are accustomed to from the Keg. Overall, it was Valentines and my wife is.now reconsidering our annual dinner to another restaurant after she was disappointed.by the winter menu she was so looking forward to.
