Our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu. We got the ribeye and the lobster tail and both entrees were delicious!!

My friend and I met for drinks and bites and had a wonderful time. Our server Nicole recommended excellent shareables and made sure we were taken care of at all times. The food and drinks were all delicious and we ended the night with a chocolate bread pudding that was heavenly.

This was a girl's day out lunch and it was everything we were looking for. We were looking for something to eat that reminded up of our trip to Paris and this was perfect!

Love the French cuisine. Had the halibut on a bed of risotto special and it was superb. The mushroom tart was also so delicious and quite a large portion. Cocktails were on point. The team was friendly and helpful.

My third visit to this restaurant in three months. The cheesecake appetizer is worth the visit. All of the food we had was good as was the service. We’ll be back.

We were looking forward to a lovely New Year’s Eve dinner later in the evening assuming that since it’s New Year’s Eve a late meal would be normal - not so much as it turned out. I’d been to The French Hen a couple years back and had such a great experience, I was sure it would be perfect. This time, the service made the experience very disappointing. It took a bit before anyone greeted us or showed us to a table even though we had a reservation. Then, it took a while before someone finally came to take a drink order. Our waitress was nice but each encounter was rushed like she was ready to get us out the door as fast as possible. My friend didn’t even bother ordering the glass of wine he wanted with his meal. Even though his drink was empty there was no check in to see if he wanted to order something else until after the meal was served even though he told the waitress he was looking at the wine list. It wasn’t even busy. Plus I’m pretty sure the waitress didn’t even ask us if we wanted dessert until after she brought us the bill and came for the credit card simply asking, “Is there anything else?” Of course by that point the answer was going to be no anyway since we didn’t want to prolong the experience. I’m sure the staff was ready to get out and enjoy their holiday and I can understand that. However, my two cents: if you want your guests out by closing at 10pm please don’t accept a 9pm reservation expecting them to enjoy a multi-course meal in less than an hour when it’s a holiday dinner date. You can say that it’s ok to stay past closing but the old saying that actions speak louder than words is still true. It’s too bad because the food was really amazing and the restaurant setting is great and very pretty. We might give another try for lunch sometime in the future but definitely not planning for an evening out here again.

Lovely, local gem! The food was outstanding. We went at lunchtime, so we had the benefit of 5-star food for lunch prices. The French onion soup and espresso chocolate mousse are not to be missed!
