The Fox es un pub y restaurante de alta cocina galardonado situado en la pintoresca Willian, cerca de Letchworth, en el norte de Hertfordshire. El bar sirve una amplia selección de cervezas, como la de la cervecería Brincaste y otras que van cambiando. Este moderno restaurante, con un ambiente elegante y relajado, sirve un menú con varios productos locales de temporada, una lista de vinos y un amplio menú de bar.     Go here quite often. The service was good and usually is. So thanks for this. But our server left half way through serving us, must have left at 10pm, don’t think it’s good that your server leaves his shift half way through serving his table(s). However, the food was a little disappointing. Both of us had steaks. Have to say mine wasn’t all that. Had a rare one, but I think the quality of it didn’t support a rare steak. Was rather tough. Chips were not all that either. Like a good fluffy inner and crispy outer, they were not. Overall the food was ok. Service was good, albeit change in the server and the ambience was good. Will be back and hope the food is better next time.

    A rare opportunity for my partner and I to dine out in Valentine’s was quite frankly ruined by one of the worst meals we have ever had. We have eaten here before and it’s been lovely but this time it was poor at best. We were in the restaurant for less than 45 mins in total, had the worst steak both of us had ever had in a restaurant, zero alcohol and paid over £100 for the privilege. We didn’t want to cause a scene at the restaurant and ruin the night for the other couples so we left quietly and contacted the Fox on our way home, we have had zero response from them adding further insult to the matter. We have never made a complaint about any restaurant before but with the price and the lack of quality of the food, we simply can’t let this one slide. Extremely disappointed and quite angry at the whole experience!

    The place is lovely we could chat and enjoy each others company.. staff informed and polite . Food fresh and wonderful.. Perfect lunch even the vegetable sides had be lavished with love.. the dessert could be adjusted as required.. Seasonal fruit crumble with crème anglaise..

    We had to return two sirloin steak meals as the meat was so tough we were unable to cut it or chew it, we had rib eye steak as a replacement & that was ok, the waitress was very apologetic & apologised but the whole evening was spoilt as it was our daughter’s birthday & her meal was ok so she continued eating on her own.

    Excellent food. Starter came very quickly. However Saturday lunchtime & very busy. After starter had to wait 1/2 an hour for main course. Excellent staff.

    Really good service! Helped us to bring out a surprise birthday cake and even used a blow torch to light the sparklers we had bought haha! Amazing roast dinner too!
