The fox and grapes is a very nice place to eat. We ordered the sirloin of beef unfortunately it was very tough and chewy. We both had difficulty cutting the meat. I left quite a lot of the meat and ordered a pudding for both of us it was apple crumble what I didn’t know is how hot the outside of the bowl was and burnt both fingers. All in all it was a disappointing lunch and an expensive mistake.

The food was excellent as always but the service was incredibly slow . We waited an hour for a starter but in all fairness when we complained , we were given complimentary drinks and the charge for the starter was removed from the bill.

Food of variable quality. Poorly organised service, although the table staff were trying their best. Seriously over-priced. Something wrong at management level.
