The Cottage, an upscale-meets-casual eatery in Linden Square Wellesley known for dependable, fresh, SoCal inspired menu options.

We partnered with Taniya Nayak, a featured interior designer on popular Food Network programs such as ‘Restaurant Impossible’ to transform the once light-flooded, beach-like, SoCal atmosphere to a warm, lively, and New England-comfort interior. Enjoy an emphasis on natural woods, live greenery, and pops of welcomed fresh color in the new interior and brand.

The Cottage will remain the same tried-and-true neighborhood eatery with a re-defined focus on local, fresh, and honest product, for the whole family, every day. The Cottage Wellesley’s new menu is created by Culinary Director, Peter Hansen, who brings his vast experience from all over the world to Wellesley, MA. In his career, Hansen has appeared on six episodes of Iron Chef and has worked alongside incredible culinary talent such as Michael White and Bobby Flay.

Join us at The Cottage for our annual Breakfast with Santa! No better way to celebrate the holiday season than a tasty breakfast buffet and a visit at your table from Mr. Santa Claus himself! Bring your little ones in for some Christmas Magic and a fun family celebration of the holidays. Your reservation will reserve you your own table, access to our Breakfast Buffet for you and your kids, a visit for Santa Claus and plenty of photo ops! Adults are $35 per seat, and children are $15 per seat. Payment will be due at the restaurant.

Service and ambience were nice but the food was not great. The chicken dumplings were fried and not very tasty. Presentation was not great. Chicken piccata was divided into 2 portions which was nice of them, tasted ok.

Love The Cottage! I meet a friend here several times a year for a weekend morning brunch. It’s such a cozy spot! It’s the perfect place!

The service was horrible. We waited for 45 minutes to place our order. My friend’s salad came without any dressing and we couldn’t flag anyone down. Will not be going back any time soon.

Have had good experiences here in the past, but tonight the waiter was inattentive and not very friendly. The southwest chopped salad that used to be yummy was pretty much just greens and a little avocado. The chicken piccata was very good and the brownie sundae was delicious.

While I have one or two less-than-stellar experiences here two years ago, it’s been consistently awesome for the last year. A friend and i meet here every two months or so. The menu has decent variety and the portions are generous. Everything is presented well and tastes excellent. Lots of gluten free options. The Bloody Mary’s are great-no overdone garnishes (like, it’s a drink, not an entree), just a few simple things and a perfect mix. Service is mostly good. They can get quite busy but i never feel rushed out. The space is very open with lots of natural light.
