El restaurante goza de impresionantes jardines florales en un entorno histórico en el que los comensales podrán degustar platos locales de estilo contemporáneo recién preparados. Está ubicado en la antigua residencia de la familia Butchart y ofrece vistas espectaculares al jardín privado, al jardín italiano y a Tod Inlet. Los comensales podrán relajarse con el té de la tarde en la temporada primaveral y estival, así como disfrutar de productos más cálidos desde octubre y a lo largo de todo el invierno. El almuerzo y la cena varían en función de la temporada y cuentan con una fuerte presencia de ingredientes locales sostenibles. The dining room rates right at the top with the best Victoria has to offer in all areas - food, service, atmosphere, ambience and we will continue to recommend it to everybody!

This was our 3rd time and it never disappoints. The selection of seasonal desserts was excellent, the scallop starter was amazing and the fresh warm bread and butter is perfect after walking around the gardens. We had the lamb and the pork chop. Both were tasty.

A spectacular place to have a special dinner. A beautiful restaurant in a traditional setting of a grand old house surrounded by gorgeous gardens. The food here is always well above average. We both had a delicious pork chop that was so beautifully cooked and sauced I could have licked the plate. Deducted a star because the dessert was a little disappointing. Fancy restaurants come with fancy prices so need to keep up standards across their full menu. If any kind of pie crust is on the menu, it should be light, fresh and rich tasting. Ours was not. Otherwise a fabulous evening. As to service, the main meal should not really arrive before pre dinner drinks - but really not a deal breaker for us. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at the Holiday Tea sitting this afternoon at the Butchart dining room! Highly recommended tea experience, along with other stops for afternoon tea in and around the Greater Victoria area. The tea tower featured lovely house-made sweet and savoury items, with many featuring local ingredients! A great selection of goodies, very well presented. Our server was top-notch, along with the rest of the team members, that demonstrated very gracious hospitality. We followed the tea with a stroll through the gardens, well lit for the festive season! Highly recommend this as a date-afternoon experience!

After touring the gardens (entrance fee to the gardens required unless annual pass holders) we arrived at the dining room and were treated to live piano music. The staff here are really lovely - they smile, are pleasant and responsive and welcoming. So many restaurants cannot deliver on the hospitality that The Dining Room has - well done! The holiday menu offered something for everyone including my partner who is vegan. We all enjoyed our choices - chicken, salmon, vegan dish (cauliflower foundation) along with dessert: almond cake and figgy pudding. Annual pass holders get 10% off on the food portion of the menu which helps a bit as the prices are high. But the quality was high as well and most tables get a view of the gardens lit up for the holidays. We understand why it is so popular.

A fabulous and festive Christmas evening at the Butchart Garden dining room. We were welcomed so warmly by staff and given a spectacular table overlooking the gardens. What an amazing ambiance on a cold winter evening. We both enjoyed soup (mushroom & French Onion) for starters and they were excellent. Our main course was beautifully prepared AAA Alberta Beef Tenderloin which was also outstanding. We finished the evening off with dessert and coffee - also a sweet treat and lovely way to end our dining experience. Thanks to Travis and Natalie for making this a special culinary experience.
