El restaurante goza de impresionantes jardines florales en un entorno histórico en el que los comensales podrán degustar platos locales de estilo contemporáneo recién preparados. Está ubicado en la antigua residencia de la familia Butchart y ofrece vistas espectaculares al jardín privado, al jardín italiano y a Tod Inlet. Los comensales podrán relajarse con el té de la tarde en la temporada primaveral y estival, así como disfrutar de productos más cálidos desde octubre y a lo largo de todo el invierno. El almuerzo y la cena varían en función de la temporada y cuentan con una fuerte presencia de ingredientes locales sostenibles.                               I celebrated a monumental birthday with high tea at Butchart Gardens. The server and kitchen were all very knowledgeable and accommodating for my food allergies (gluten, nuts, and seeds). Everything was great

                              To have high tea that's gluten-free is such a treat. The pastries, squares as well as mini sandwiches were delicious. So fresh and tasty. I definitely will be returning!

                              We (couple) came on a cold rainy spring day and were welcomed with a warm fire upon entering. Lovely views to a courtyard fountain through leaded glass windows. Comfortable chairs. Nice linens. Calming décor. Charming and attentive staff. Delicious food! The High Tea is a wee bit pricey, but such a treat to experience, it was worth it. Wonderful choices for loose leaf teas that complemented our meal beautifully. I wish we could afford to go once a week!

                              We got a table by the window and the service was great. Our server explained everything to us. Food was good. Variety of finger sandwiches, quiche, scones and various desserts. I'm not a big tea fan (went for my wife) but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The pricing was excellent. $52 per person and well worth it considering the Fairmont Empress charges double that. I would recommend going to the Butchart Gardens ($32/person entrance fee) and exploring all the wonderful sights, history and vegetation. Walk around for about 1 hour and then head for afternoon tea at the Dining Room. Total cost including tip is about $100/person. Amazing experience!

                              I took my mom here for her birthday and we loved it! We had a great table and the servers were very friendly and helpful. Overall a great day!

                              High Tea at Butchart is a treat. The food was delicious The service was fabulous. What a truly amazing place to dine. It does not hurt that you are surrounding by gorgeous flowers either. My friends and I do this once a year and it is a very special time.
