El restaurante goza de impresionantes jardines florales en un entorno histórico en el que los comensales podrán degustar platos locales de estilo contemporáneo recién preparados. Está ubicado en la antigua residencia de la familia Butchart y ofrece vistas espectaculares al jardín privado, al jardín italiano y a Tod Inlet. Los comensales podrán relajarse con el té de la tarde en la temporada primaveral y estival, así como disfrutar de productos más cálidos desde octubre y a lo largo de todo el invierno. El almuerzo y la cena varían en función de la temporada y cuentan con una fuerte presencia de ingredientes locales sostenibles.                                                 Our table was in a quiet section of the restaurant with a view of the beautiful, colours of Christmas lights. There was a varied selection of entrees...salmon, pork, chicken, steak and a vegetarian option. The steak was great! The pork chop huge! The salmon was uniquely presented and tasty. The pasta our youngster had was disappointing. The service was great. Overall, we were happy to have had dinner where we could walk out the door and enjoy a fabulous tour of the gardens decorated for Christmas.

                                                What can I say Butchart Gardens, the ambiance is beautiful and the Christmas Tea food was delicious. But the portion sizes are definitely smaller than they were a few years ago.

                                                Server was very friendly and attentive. Very nice holiday atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend more than the Empress. :)

                                                Wonderful afternoon tea experience. Enjoyed the 100th anniversary tea the best. Delicious pastries and sandwiches. In the loveliest converted house among the garden. Friendly and accommodating staff.

                                                Loved our experience! I ordered the gluten free high tea and it was delicious and no cross contamination. Went with my two kids and they also really enjoyed their time. Highly recommend!
