The Beltliner, named for the old streetcar that ran down 12th ave in the early part of the last century, is a modern and casual interpretation of the classic diner.

We offer a menu crafted with local, seasonal, artisanal and handmade ingredients.

Our goal is to continually offer the freshest, most innovative, playful takes on diner fare in a fun and approachable setting. We take those classic diner staples you would expect and elevate them with great produce and modern techniques. Serious cooking while not taking ourselves too seriously.

We also have a small to-go coffee counter featuring Fratello coffee, Fresh Pressed Juice and loads of housemade pastries and snacks.

Service was really poor and waited a very long time for our food. Food was excellent once it arrived and the server acknowledged the wait. A bit turned off from today's experience.

I do love a nice breakfast and the beltliner didn’t disappoint. It has a little bit of that diner feel but the coffee is far better than that. I had a hash brown bowl and my egg was perfectly done-cooked white, runny yolk. Seasonings were balanced, textures just right.

The staff at the Beltliner were accommodating and made our special celebration of my daughter’s conviction particularly magical.

Awesome place for breakfast or lunch. The staff are amazing. This feels like your small town diner where everyone is friends. The food is delicious, served to ensure you get your fill and leave money in your wallet.

Super tasty brunch, loved the pear and ricotta french toast and the London fog I had, both were excellent! And our server was lovely, we were with friends catching up after a year and she let us stay at the table visiting for a good hour after we’d finished without rushing us out, which we certainly appreciated. Will be back!
