Booked for the Terrace Room and requested a pretty view as we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. I was pleased that the Christmas decor was still in place, and elegantly done. I had read mixed reviews on the food. We started with the Charcuterie, and then scallops for me and salmon for him. Bananas Foster cocktail was perfect. Banoffee Entremet delicious. There was absolutely not one misstep or one item to find fault. All the food was delicious and prepared to our liking. The pace was perfect as we were dining; not gulping food to move onto the next must do. Karen, our server, was solicitous and attentive without being intrusive. She was knowledgeable and made good recommendations. I have a citrus fruits allergy; she verified each item I ordered was “safe”. She even had my husband’s dessert plate decorated with a Happy Birthday! We had a lovely evening and will return again.

Beautiful restaurant- calm and quiet. Relatively small menu and entrees to choose from. Our particular waitress was very unfriendly and rushed us but we have eaten here before and that is not always the case.

Skip this establishment. While the salmon dinners ordered were ok, the turkey pot pie was the worst meal I had the entire stay in Williamsburg. We dined at 4 other restaurants during our stay and had incredible meals for less. Way too much hype about the Williamsburg Inn Terrace and did not deliver a decent meal. However, we had an excellent server!

Excellent food choices ! Thank you for gluten free accommodations. Loved the oysters on the half shell appetizer ! Amazing !!!!!

While it’s a beautiful place to eat and the food for the most part delicious, the servers seemed to have too many tables and didn’t notice if we wanted another glass of wine or more coffee, which was disappointing for the price. There was also no one to valet our car that night.

We’ve visited CW and eaten at the Williamsburg Inn countless times before. This was by far the worse experience we’ve ever had. Reflecting, it’s been going downhill over the years. From the terrible service and lack luster food, just very disappointing for what we expected and it wasn’t cheap. We will be eating elsewhere next time, there are plenty of luxury dining options in the area that fit the bill as advertised.

Steak was undercooked, sent it back and then it was overcooked. Ate it anyways because we were hungry.

We were very disappointed in the Holiday High Tea. The experience was not very pleasant. The staff was unfriendly and we felt rushed the entire time. The tables were too close together so it was loud and the staff kept bumping into our seats. The food was ok but certainly not what was expected for the price. After the tax and service charge it was almost $100 a person so we definitely expected a better environment and time. I would not recommend. We attended High Tea about 4 years ago and it was a totally different experience. The Inn has definitely gone down hill over the years.

Everything was fine- just definitely not for the amount of money we spent. I don’t recommend the Pre fixed Christmas dinner at all. Just cost way too much for what you get.

The Christmas dinner was delicious. I had the short rib dish. Britain and Saif gave me amazing customer service and were friendly. Thank you for making a new tradition even better!
