Teatro rinde homenaje a la locación del restaurante en el distrito de artes y teatros en Calgary. Durante más de 20 años, Teatro ha servido gastronomía mediterránea contemporánea en una atmósfera de buena comida dentro del histórico Toronto Dominion Bank (establecido en 1911). Su cava galardonada cuenta con más de 13.500 botellas y 1.100 marcas, con un enfoque en vinos de Italia y Bordeaux. Una experiencia gastronómica verdaderamente única para disfrutarse con el menú de degustación del chef de 8 tiempos. También cuenta con opciones privadas y semiprivadas de comedor para grupos grandes de personas.     Clos de la Oyster Barre Rev. Vol. 51 FT: Generation XXX Teatro hosts a special YYC EXP edition of Clos de la Oyster Barre in their pop-up's original location; Teatro. We are excited to be collaborating with three chefs from the forgotten generation: Chef Justin Leboe of Banff Hospitality Collective, Chef Kristian Eligh of Victoria’s Marilena Café, and Teatro Group’s own Corporate Chef Matthew Batey. Let’s not forget their millennial sidekick, Teatro Executive Chef Camilo Kobek, who is all about respecting his elders. To set the mood expect candlelight, shareable plates of seafood, and most importantly; DJ Eddy spinning hip hop tracks from yester year. Note that as opposed to a set menu, our chef team will be collaborating to create a special, A La Carte menu, allowing diners to indulge in as much or as little as they wish.

    A superb experience with excellent food. The wine list is excellent and they were very gracious with a corkage service, apperitifs and that corkage is free on Sundays.

    We decided to dine at Teatro for our anniversary. Food was decent overall. We enjoyed the lamb, pasta, and tiramisu but there was nothing too special about them. Unfortunately, the service was lacking for what we expected from Teatro. No introduction by our server, we had to ask about the specials, other tables were given a little stool to place their purses or bags on, and we didn’t receive one. It took a while for our server to take our order, and other tables were seated after us and received their food before we did. We really wanted to enjoy Teatro more, but unfortunately we’d rather spend our money at other restaurants.

    Great service, great food and great ambience. Shouko is a knowledgeable and caring server. Taylor the sommelier gave a great recommendation for the wine.

    I can’t say we enjoyed our meal. The bread was stale, the calamari was fried too long so it was very dry and hard and the main entrees were average. The highlight of the meal was the dessert. Disappointed.

    Great food, excellent service. Would recommend going earlier in the evening, we got there at 8:15 and they were out of things like bread and the chefs pasta special at the end of the night. Otherwise was a fantastic experience in a beautiful restaurant.
