Happy Holidays! Chef Edgar's pre-set menu is a 3 course meal for $110.00 per person excluding tax and gratuity. Regular kids menu will be available. Seating available from 5pm-8:30pm. All reservations guarantee you a table in the restaurant not a specific area although, we will do our best to accommodate your request. *All reservations have a two hour time limit. Payment will be added to the final check.

I was not made aware at time of booking that this would be a fixed menu for New Years. I booked based on posted menu. The evening menu was just okay but at $110 per person the courses and food amount was lacking. No complimentary bread, perhaps a complimentary glass of champagne or prosecco would have gone a long way. 2 of our 4some really liked their meal, one liked and one was subpar. However offering veggie penne pasta with marinara does not justify a $110 dollar entree. Our 4 aperol spritz’s were $20 each and we were seated outside on metal chairs. The service/our waitress was great, none of our complaints come down to service. We just felt like we got taken on this one. A meal for 4 + 4 drinks + tip and a 4% service charge (wtf???) totaled $685. There are A LOT of other places we would have opted to dine at for this amount. Would have been nice to been given that choice. Poorly done Open Table and Taverna.

We had a fantastic dinner on New Years Eve! Our server Ashley was the best. We had the holiday pre-fixe menu and we thoroughly enjoyed all of our choices. I had the catch of the day which was Mahi Mahi. It was so delicious. Thanks!

Went for the holiday menu, and it was excellent! Great value for what’s compared around and it was delicious!

Our server Tad (?) was the best we’ve had on the island and food was amazing! Great dinner for our last night on island!

3 Course holiday meal. Something came wrong on every course. Missing items, wrong meals, overcooked steak, wrong desert. Pretty dissapointing at this price point of $110 per person. We stacked our own plates twice during the meal becuase we didn't have bussers watching. We had to signal a busser to help us get rid of our plates. This is a bar that tries to sell an upscale meal at a very high price point and falls very short.

Horrible experience. With a 7pm reservation, we waited 30 min to be seated. Then another 30 min passed and our party of 4 still only had water. It was a pre-set menu, no idea why food wasn’t served in a timely way. Finally I went to the hostess (wait staff not around) and asked if we could get some bread, due to our being so hungry after being there an hour. She sent a manager over, who said they were busy and apologized. We then got food, ran out of water and repeatedly had to ask wait staff before water refill. Food came very slowly, and was $110 each for preset menu price, They gave no comp for the dreadful service and wait time. Cancelled upcoming reservation, suggest you do as well.

We had a holiday prefixe menu. We had ordered the burrata for our first course. It was served so cold that it was firm and hard which defeats the purpose of eating burrata. The vegetarian options in the prefix menu was passable at best - penne with marinara sauce. A little more thought would have made a couple of people in the group happy. Great ambience and service by a first time server

My family of 4 (2 teens) dined at Taverna on Christmas night - 12/25/24. We wanted to like this place, but we didn't - and it was mainly due to poor service and overpriced food. Our bill came to $667 with tip, and it was probably the worst dining experience during our vacation. Here's what made our experience poor: 1) After our water and first round of drinks were served and our order was taken, our waitress disappeared for an hour. An hour! Not once did she come back to check on us or take an other round of drink orders or refill our waters. 2) When she finally reappeared, we asked for our waters to be refilled. She forgot. When she came back again 10 minutes later, we had to ask her again for water. She came back 10 minutes later and finally filled our water. 3) My daughter's appetizer arrived 15 minutes before the remaining appetizers came out for the 3 of us. When the remaining 3 appetizers came out, it was apparent they delivered our appetizers to the wrong table. 4) Speaking of appetizers, my wife and I both got the beet salad. For the $110 price per head we paid, I was super disappointed with the size of the salad. It was tiny. 5) When our main courses finally arrived, we had no silverware. We had to wait, yet again, while our food was cooling down. When they delivered our silverware, I had to then ask for steak knives for my son and I. I could tell our waitress was annoyed, when she asked "how many steak knifes would you like?". I responded with "2 steak knifes for the 2 steaks we ordered". It's common sense that you provide customers with steak knifes when ordering steaks - not a bread knife. Overall the food was tasty, but the service was SO lacking for the price we paid. If Taverna Management is reading this review, they should pay closer attention to the tables and periodically check in with dining customers to ensure they are having a good dining experience. The waitress we had needs training and improvement.
