Really enjoyed our evening here. The menu is diverse and creative. We didn’t know about the 4% surcharge fair wage fee. We didn’t see it on the menu, website or front door. This disappointed us. Especially tacking it on to a $55 bottle of wine. It’s in poor taste. The entrees were $40-$75 and starters were very generously priced. Unfortunately they ran out of a side dish that accompanied the entree so we had to substitute.

4 adults and 2 toddlers at 5:30 reservation. Celebrated 75th birthday. Great time and drink and food. Meat loaf and lamb and pork chop great!!! Will return.

Excellent food and service. Maine courses were somewhat expensive. I did have a starter of lobster rolls which were made with Maine lobster in 3 slider like buns loaded with lobster meat for $26 which is low compared to lobster rolls found in many places in Maine!

We were on a trip from Denver to Grand Lake and decided to make a reservation. We were shockingly surprised, this was our best meal in Colorado. Highly recommend.

Food was very good. Service was not necessarily bad but definitely wasn't at the level of the food prices - felt like they forgot we were there.

It has been a few years since we ate at Tabernash. A lovely setting and creative chef. I get that all service is slower since the pandemic, and even enjoy taking my time to eat; but for the valley, the food was pricey (more than Deno's and Volario's), without the quality. Still worth a visit for interesting fare, but I don't feel like the food experience matches the fees.

The “We’re in the Wild” meatloaf was a marvel. So Delicious! Wonderful service plus delicious food makes Tabernash Tavern a home run.
