Sadly either this place has gone drastically downhill or was having an extremely off night. Our service was horrible, the server was nice, but VERY inattentive. We were a party of 4, 3 meals came out after an extensive wait, the 4th when the rest were about done eating. The GM did comp that meal, but the food was sub-par especially for the cost, and with several mistakes throughout the night we will not be going back any time soon.

The restaurant could not find my Open Table reservation and it was short staffed which reflected the slow service. This is not the norm for this restaurant as we've been there several times. The food was wonderful. Upon leaving one of the hostess' advised me that they did (finally) find the reservation and my points were credited. One issue I have with 95% of restaurants in general is the noise level...bet I'm not the first to mention that.

Delicious gruyere steak burger and bistro chicken dishes along with accommodating staff who moved us to the fireplace table. [and were able to make the sautéed spinach]. Commenting because I noticed when checking out the new RESY booking system, that on the Stoney website menu, there are pictures of items which are missing off the actual menu. Examples - no rice or spinach as shown in 2 fish pictures, no more brussel sprouts, mushrooms replaced with wild mushrooms, and what looks like the horseradish topping on the fish [could be some other breadcrumb mix not on menu either].

We always have a great experience at Stoney River! The food is normally phenomenal! I am dairy free and the kitchen normally makes the food butter free. However, there is no dairy free,gluten free or nut free dessert unless you want berries. When my hubby and I had dinner at Stoney River for our anniversary and again for his birthday, they surprised us with big slices of gorgeous chocolate cake & candles. I got to eat berries while my husband ate cake. In this day and age with so many people suffering with food allergies it’s really unfortunate that restaurants like Stoney River decide not to cater to these people. I got to drive across the styrofoam Whole Foods & buy myself a dairy free anniversary dessert.

Its been a number of years since ive been here. Last time food was just so so for money, and they over cooked my steak...unheard of for a high end steak restaurant. Thought id give them another tey as they are now owned by a reputable chain new management etc. greeting was very professional and we were promptly seated. Not thrilled that we were seated in the bar area but i let it go because it wasn’t busy or loud. We brought our own wine, corkage is $20 which is reasonable. Server immediately offered to open and offered a decanter. Chose not to decant but opened and poured. We started with crab cake appetizer, french onion soup and a crab bisque. All were very good. Entree i got the bone in ribeye she got the halibut. Both prepared perfectly. Service was very good...although servers could use a little training on serving un decanted wine.... you never dump the last of the bottle full tilt pour due to sediment pouring into glass. Picky i know but it happened before i could stop her...big chunk of sediment in my glass but i knew to watch for it. All in all a good experience and I would return.

We enjoy the people at Stoney Deer Park : Chris is a server that we can always count on to make our dining experience Fun and Perfectly executed. We really like talking with him. Also, his timing is on point - we are never waiting for anything. Angela is your best “front of the house“ person. She’s warm and friendly and accommodating. Mike is a good manager. He visits the table to review status and verify all is well. Good people - keep us coming back.

The salmon came out raw in the middle and it took them almost 15 min to bring out another order. We were finished with our meal by then.
