Sixth visit to the Steakhouse at Flying Horse, first time visiting on a Holiday (New Years Day). Party of four with shared sides. The Potatoes Au Gratin recipe has changed and the portion size has diminished significantly. This side was very overcooked and the cheese on top so overdone, it could barely be cut with a steak knife. The bottom of the side dish was also burnt to the cast iron dish, so much so that most of the food could not be removed. The Ribeye was very evenly cooked as ordered in spite of the fact that the center of the cut showed no browning, grill marks or charred exterior. First 22oz Ribeye I've had that wasn't at least as thick as the rib it came with and noticeably thinner than the other served at our table. Kudos to our our server Michael who was exceptional in every way. We were celebrating two December Birthdays which Flying Horse made memorable, just not in the way I had hoped.

The Rockefeller oysters were outstanding. The lobster bisque and branzino bass were outstanding. The scallops were lukewarm at best which detracted from their flavor. The cauliflower had potential but served lukewarm detracted from a potentially great dish. We have had better meals at this restaurant and are hopeful for future improvements.

We had another great dinner at Flying Horse! We sat at the bar and enjoyed every moment. Our waitress/bartender, Clarissa, was a joy, pleasant, efficient and attentive. We always enjoy our times there. Consistently good. The food was excellent. A great way to enjoy New Year’s Eve.

We were pleasantly surprised to get a reservation here on Christmas night when our original plans fell through. It was a lovely venue with excellent service. We will go here again for a special occasion.

While the staff were very kind and hospitable, this does not compare to any steakhouse. The food was mediocre at best, with the steaks being off temperature. I thought it was odd that the waiter brought out our steaks to have us cut into them to see if they were medium rare. They weren’t, so we sent them back only to get medium steaks. The atmosphere is fine for getting a burger after playing golf, but this is definitely not a place to have a nice meal. We spent Eddie V’s prices for Texas Roadhouse food. Totally disappointing and I honestly can’t believe anyone recommends this place.

Food was good, but service was pretty lacking. When you’re spending this kind of money on dinner, the service should be on par with the price.

Well below my expectation after spending $600 for a dinner of 4 people. Service was poor and our entree took almost an hour after we flagged down our server to make an inquiry. The manager did come out and explain an issue with one of our entrees and it had to be redone. My wife’s scallops came out cold and our daughter-in- law’s salmon was also cold. They offered us desserts on the house. Not a good first time experience and we will never go back.
