    We had a table by the front window. The atmosphere was nice. The food was excellent, and so was the service. We had a lovely time.

    Celebrating our wedding anniversary. The service was superior. We were seated with a fantastic view of the city and the Sound. The Prime Rib was the best that I have ever had! Sheri made sure that every detail was taken care of and presented us with a delicious dessert. A must go to place for special events.

    The view was perfect. I suggest one might want to reserve a table about 30 or 40 minutes before sunset. That way, as the sun goes down and the city lights come up, one will see Tacoma in many different light hues. Beautiful. The dinner was wonderfully delicious. My guests were slightly disappointed with the dessert choices because they said the options were the same as everywhere else (chocolate cake, carrot spice cake, cheesecake, brownie with ice cream …). They were hoping to find more elegant options for the price.

    Everything was absolutely beautiful except for the lobster bisque and the lobster tail. My order for the soup was completely forgotten and the lobster was overcooked and very tough. The restaurant however reimbursed us for half the cost of the lobster and the soup was eventually delivered. The nicest part of our meal was when the restaurant comped our dessert completely because it was my guest's birthday --- how sweet of them.

    We had a wonderful leisurely dinner celebrating a birthday with family members. Staff were great. Food was delicious. Enjoyed the view of the city lights. Drinks were great. It was an expensive evening but very enjoyable. Dining out is just costly these days. I don’t think the restaurant prices were excessive.

    Eric was great, although drink service was a bit slow. Not his fault though. He really pulled through on the Creme brûlée! Thank you & Happy New Year!

    Celebrating wife's birthday; probably our 10th visits here; 5th or 6th for her birthday. We were relaxed and feeling casual. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. Wife's meal - Broadway Pea Salad was crisp and very tasty; Surf and Turf steak was tender, succulent and perfectly seasoned; Prawns were cooked and seasoned to perfection; asparagus was crisp and fresh. Key Lime Pie was deliciously tart. My meal - Caeser Salad was okay, no black pepper offered or available on table; Blackened Chilean Sea Bass had very little seasoning, was rubbery, bland and undercooked. Manager offered to "fire it up" again. (Did she really mean that they would take the fish off my plate and put it back on the grill?) Opted to change to the Herb Crusted Prime Rib. Wish it could have been as tender as my wife's sirloin. Cheesecake was good. Requested coffee with dessert. First cup was room temperature. Had to flag down different waitstaff to get it changed. Second cup was warm but definitely not hot; at the end of its life as a fresh, hot cup of coffee. By now I was just done. Waiter Eric seemed to be put out for some reason. We were cordial and nondemanding when reporting my disappointment with the bass. Got water refilled one time during the entire meal. Overall, a very disappointing experience at what used to be one of our favorite eateries. We will have to think hard about returning.

    My husband and I have been going to Stanley and Seafort’s for many years and have never been disappointed. The food was really good and our waiter Doug was exceptionally good!!!!
