    Enjoyed a lovely Valentine's Day dinner at Stanford's. A red rose was placed on every table. I ordered the sirloin beef tips in Cabernet sauce with mushrooms and it was superb!

    There were several different menus to choose from, the regular, a Valentines special and lunch specials. 4 of us each xhose different items, and each was fresh, hot when appropriate and flavorful. The server was very attentive, took photos for us, and made sure we were satisfied.

    Our table was set and ready to go when we arrived. It was in a quiet location and very comfortable. Michael was our waiter, and he was attentive and helpful. The food was good, and we had a very enjoyable time.

    We needed to move to the bar as original table was next to a family with loud crying children. Our waitress was great and food was good as usual. We try to use Stanfords for meeting up when family is in town. I was disappointed to see the city food rating certificate as we were leaving the restaurant rating it "OKAY". Not sure I would have eaten there had I seen it on the way in. Hope they can get that rating back up.

    Food was average and a bit too expensive for what was being offered. The prim rib sandwich meat had a left over greasy taste
