El Solé Restaurant and Wine Bar está situado en un edificio de Seagram de hace 150 años, a pocos minutos al oeste de Waterloo Uptown Core. El interior dispone de 2 plantas con techo de madera, ladrillos a la vista y generosos acabados en madera, lo que marca la pauta para una experiencia elegante e informal.     We enjoyed our Sole dinner after not being there for so long! We sat in the bar area for new years eve as was the only available spot. It was nice, great service and food was tasty! The chicken pasta had huge bacon pieces and was really good. The chicken sandwich was on a flatbread and tasty. The salsa Verde was very tart, wasn't my favorite but got it on the side. Music was a bit strange. Had a quieter, older demographic vibe as compared to Bauer Kitchen. Overall would recommend for a nice dinner out in Waterloo!

    First impressions was this was a beautiful restaurant, fabulous ambiance and was greated with a friendly smile. Sage, our server, introduced herself, poured our water and took our drink order. She was very pleasant and attentive. We had a few special requests and she fulfilled every single one. The food was fabulous. The Steak tartar was perfect and Had some amazing complex flavours that blended so well together. Scallops were perfectly cooked and the wine cream sauce perfectly complemented them without over powering or being rich. In short, everything was perfect and would definitely make this a regular stop. Thank you Solé.

    Amazing food and ambience. Our server Heidi was so kind, accommodating and professional. We will definitely return! Would love to have the oysters available regularly. They were so good! Thank you for giving us a wonderful evening!

    Exceptional service and attitude from both the server and the manager, who came by our table. Food, as always was, was top-notch. Can't say I like the new décor.

    Our waitress gave us a really bad experience which was a shame because we really wanted to like this restaurant, everytime the waitress spoke to us, she wouldn't let us finish our sentence and would start to walk away which was really disrespectful and just had a really bad attitude all night (except when we were going to pay of course). In our reservation we included it was our anniversary and she never acknowledged it through the night. The food was really good, the drink was so/so but it was fixed. Again, we wanted to like this place, we even avoided going through the year as we wanted to reserve it for our anniversary but it was so disappointing that I don't think we'll be going back to this restaurant.
