If you are traveling by BART, exit at Embarcadero Station. Walk North up Drumm St. past the Hyatt Regency and turn right to enter the street level of Embarcadero Center 4. Take escalator up two flights to the Promenade Level. Sens entrance is located on your left a few yards down the walkway .

If you like great food, service, and views, please come here! The drinks are always creative and delicious. The staff is very friendly and extremely efficient. They make a birthday celebration very special when they’re aware.

Went for a business dinner. Food was mixed. Shared appetizers were tasty but portions were very small. For entrees, some members of the party had a steak special recommended by our server, they all enjoyed but the consensus was “good not great”. One member of the party had paella which got a thumbs up. The other three members of the party (including me) ordered halibut. The portion was tiny (I estimate 2 ounces of fish), the flavors were very bland (other than a small strip of preserved lemon) and the presentation (beige on beige) was drab. We split some desserts which were all pretty good. After tax/svc bill came out to over $120 per person, which was very pricey for one drink, one entree, half an appetizer, and half a dessert per person. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, which was a big bright spot. Also, we were seated right by the window overlooking the ferry building and the Bay Bridge, which made for a lovely ambience.

Overall a Vibe in at tucked location. Menu needs more variety. I love coming on Fried Chicken Fridays.

Very poor service … we were a party of 8 so the server just knew he was getting his tip and just ignored us all night. We were not noisy or anything to justify him ignoring us

Had reservations and was sat promptly at a table with an amazing view of the Ferry Building and Bay Bridge. Service and ambiance was very good. Flavor of the food and drinks were good, however where Sens fell short was the portion size of the drinks and food. For the price point you are paying you expect to walk away fulfilled. We however walked away still hungry and had a 2nd dinner later. Two of us had the ribeye with fries and another had the rigatoni. The ribeye had to be the thinest slice we both have ever had at a restaurant. The rigatoni was served in a small bowl as well. On top of the food portion, the drink portions were also very small. Unfortunately Sens fell short in our visit.

I recently hosted a business holiday dinner at Sens, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our evening unforgettable. A special thank you to the owner, Kais Bouzidi, whose dedication to excellence is clearly reflected in every detail of the restaurant. Jason, the manager, who was dear to our team, was incredibly attentive and ensured everything flowed seamlessly throughout the night. The wait staff and hostesses were kind, professional, and made everyone feel so welcomed. Chef Vernon and his talented team truly outdid themselves. The food was exceptional—beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and crafted with such care. Each dish added to the warm and festive atmosphere of our evening. Sens is the perfect place for any special occasion, and I am so grateful for the incredible service and care we received. Thank you for making our holiday dinner so memorable. I can’t wait to return!

Loved the space overlooking the tower at the Embarcadero. Our food was great and we were surprised at the good service despite the restaurant being over crowded with extremely large tables that were so loud and noisy you could not hear or have a nice dinner conversation. We would have stayed longer having coffee and desert, but the noise level drove us out.
