We couldn’t get into Opus so we went to Schlesinger’s. We will NEVER go there again. 2 1/2 hours of the worst service we have ever experienced. We sat at our table for 15-20 mins before someone even claimed our table then blamed it on the hostesses. Waiter kept forgetting stuff for our table including drinks, butter, ranch, etc. we waited another 20 mins for appetizers and again another for salads. My sisters salad had sand in it and was very gritty. Had to flag waiter down just to get him to our table. He was running around like a chicken with his head cut off! I finally got up and went to talk to the manager. She was very nice and apologetic and said she would talk with her comanager and expedite things at our table. We didn’t see her or anyone else for another 20 mins. She never got back to us. My brother in law’s steak was over cooked and the manager brought it out 23 mins later!!!! We told him about our experience and he said they dropped the ball on our table. He compt’d our entire meal which was nice. However we asked for boxes to take food home and waited another 10 mins for that and he sent our same waiter out with those. The waiter then asked will this be 2 checks or 1? We told him the manager told us our meal was on the house and he said let me go check. When he came back he said that was correct and they didn’t tell him. On the way out we saw the comanager and she took my name down and said the owners wife would be calling us. Awful experience. Too bad cause the food is good but the service and managers are not!

I have gone go Schlesinger’s for dinner very often the brunch was absolutely not the same quality of food! Very disappointed !

Lisa was a wonderful server keeping a good eye on our table to ensure we had everything we needed. She greeted us with our names making for a more personal experience. Our food was excellent. We left with a truly positive experience and will be back soon. Thank you .

Was a good visit - fine greeting, table was ready, waiting longer than usual for our server to come but.Kristine - did a fine job, friendly, attentive and helpful. Only issue was my Filet MIgnon did not look as good as usual - coloring did not look right, kinda grey, did not have the char look - Deb noticed it right away, I thought it was just me. Did not send it back, as we did not have time to wait for a new steak and Deb's meal looked and tasted great, did not want that to go to waste. Deb and Bill Schmidt Wmsburg
