This year marks the 50th-year anniversary of the one and only Chicago Pizza & Oven Grinder Co. Since opening their doors in 1972, CPOG has been serving its unique style of pizza, the Pizza Pot Pie- an original- baked in a bowl filled with cheese; homemade sauce from scratch (each batch takes 10 hours of prep and cooking time); large fresh mushrooms and topped with a triple raised Sicilian bread-type dough; then inverted ceremoniously at your table. Six mouth-watering gargantuan Oven Grinders, several colossal salads with distinctive, original homemade dressings and the Mediterranean Bread round out its menu.
In the heart of Lincoln Park in Chicago, this cozy restaurant is housed in a historical building. Set across the street from the site of the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, this three story brownstone is claimed to have been used as a look out for Al Capone’s gang during the legendary hit back in 1929.

Pizza in Napoli is soft and foldable and can be considered “wet” by American standards. For this reason, people in Napoli generally eat their pizza with a knife and fork. A chic, outdoorsy pizza haven located in Old Town. Happy Camper boasts a décor that includes Airstream trailers, neon renditions of the Great Lakes, warm wooden accents, and tire swing seating around the bar. A wide variety of colorful pizzas and delicious appetizers await you.

F*ckin' Charity Bingo on Sundays at 1:30pm is sat on a first come first serve basis. All reservations will be sat in the non-bingo area.

We cannot guarantee inside or outside seating.

Neighborhood ordinances require our patio to close by 12am.

Your table is weather permitting. If there is inclement weather, Happy Camper reserves the right to cancel your reservation. If you are dining when inclement weather occurs your food will be packed and given your bill. You are more than welcome to head to the bar afterward.
