Unfortunately, my filet was very very tough and fibrous - not what I would expect from a filet. It was almost impossible to cut through (temp was medium as requested so not tough due to overcooking). The lobster bisque was significantly over salted and was all herb taste…not sure if it was thyme or tarragon…but the herb taste and too much salt meant it was inedible. The server was so nice and attentive so we didn’t complain or say anything. However, I won’t be back due to the low quality of the food. Capital Grill is better for an uptown steak location.

The food was amazing! Our table was served the calamari app, stuffed chicken, filet mignon, A5 wagyu beef, broccoli, sweet potato casserole, loaded hashbrowns, and garlic mashed potatoes. However it was the staff, in particular Julian, that made this a superb dining experience. Julian attended to all of our needs with such flare. He seemed to really enjoy what he was doing and that made us feel like valued customers. I would dine at the uptown location again just because of the impeccable service.

Ruth Chris was a great dinning experience on Christmas Day. Staff were exceptional with the demand of people during dinner. Food took longer than expected but the quality was great.

I love Ruth Chris. It’s my favorite place to dine out of all the top restaurants. I’ll choose Ruth every time. Top tier, VIP service always .

My son and I ate Christmas dinner here. We arrived and everything was good other than it took a long time to get our food. The waitress was very apologetic and she said the manager would come talk to us about our long wait but that never happened. The manager did stop by our table and pick up dirty dishes but never acknowledged how long we had to wait for our food. It was a little frustrating waiting so long but since it was Christmas I didn’t want to complain. The employees were working and away from their families so I didn’t want to be too rude to them.

We had an amazing dining experience on our first time out to dinner on Christmas Day! The ribeye steak, Chilean sea bass, seared ahi tuna were all cooked to perfection and the lobster Mac and cheese, cremini mushrooms and loaded baked potato were delicious! Our server Joseph was very pleasant, attentive, and professional! His sense of humor was refreshing! We highly recommend Ruth’s Chris in Charlotte Uptown!

Everything was wonderful! Great service, food can not be beat! I wish the valet was free or got validated as it would have been in years gone by, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault and definitely a sign of times of old values going away and not coming back.. We met the manager and he was very helpful and everyone we encountered was happy and a joy to interact with! We will most definitely be back!

Christmas Eve dinner Ryan D was our server and he was the best! We love this restaurant and choose this location (uptown) over the other. We ordered the petite filets and stuffed chicken. So delicious! Food is always consistently good!

I usually go to the South Park location but decided to check out uptown’s location. The waiter was very friendly and welcoming. The food was good and fast service. I’d come back.
