    Overall it was a good experience with relatively fast service and better than average food. The one complaint I would like to add is that we went during Valentine's Day and noticed that every female or being presented roses at the completion of their meal. We however after spending $600 we're giving nothing.

    My husband and I dined at Ruth's Chris at the south Barrington location on Friday, February 14, 2025, to celebrate Valentine's Day. We were seated shortly after arriving to the restaurant. I immediately notified one of the manager's that I was cold and asked if there were other seating options. I was told that the dining room was full and that there were no other options available. The manager notified me that she turned the heat up from 72-74 degrees. However, the temperature in the room did not change. By the time I left the restaurant, my feet were cold, my legs were cold and so was my face. I was sick on Saturday. I spent $167.00 for a meal that I could not enjoy because I was so cold. It's very hard to enjoy a meal when cold. I was disappointed that nothing could be done to at least make me feel comfortable. I feel there was not enough effort given to assist me. I also noticed that roses were given to the women. However, some of the women received white roses which were wiltered. Other women receive red roses which were much more vibrant. It was a noticeable difference. Additionally, my waiter showed no extra effort with making my husband and I feel welcome. In fact, a customer sitting next to me mentioned that she felt the waiter service was poor and discussed how disappointed she was with the service. I would hate to think that DEI played a role regarding the waiter's behavior and service. As I was leaving the restaurant, the manager mentioned that rooms in the back of the house with doors tend to be cooler. Manager said the dining room is warmer but that was not an option for me. I was scheduled to dine at this location again tonight, but after the poor service on Friday, I canceled my reservation. I would likely not recommend this location to friends. I have patronized this located for many years in the past even during the pandemic. Sadly, I will look for a new place to dine. You don't have to spend my money where I am not valued.

    First time going ! & it was amazing !!! Server was beautiful & nice. FOOD WAS TOP TIER .. & the manager that night checked on us. THIS RUTH CHRIS at this location can take allll my money. NOW CLOCK THAT. ❤️❤️
