Disappointing first experience with this chain. I’ve had the good fortune to eat at a few higher-end steak houses in Dallas such as Silver Fox, Pappas Brothers, III Forks, etc., so I feel like I have a reasonable basis for comparison … and this wasn’t on that level. Steak was bland, even with the bleu cheese crust add-on; the Caesar dressing was boring and bland, and the mashed potatoes were a bit soupy. Honestly, the best part was the bread and the service; our server Josh was wonderful.

Our waiter was catering to the other tables who were drinking more and had larger parties. I felt like we were being ignored. The other guest asked if he could order the rice without the crab, and the waiter seemed a bit confused and then took the order. He spent time explaining that he does not want the crab in the rice. It came with crab and the rice. I was done my meal by the time the waiter came back to the table after the food was delivered by somebody else. Overall, it was among the worst experiences at the restaurant.

The staff was very inattentive. I asked for more bread three different times. Our food came out and my plate was not hot. Prior to dinning I was told this was a staple of Ruth’s Chris. Overall the experience was fair compared to other steakhouses and considering the price.

This is our go to place on special occasions. The valet service is always great then your night begins. Food superb, staff attentive! Great night!!!!

We celebrate our anniversary at Ruth’s Chris every year. The food is always high quality & always DELICIOUS! The service was terrific. When we asked to be moved because a party was going on in a private room across from our table, we were immediately given a table in a quiet corner. I couldn’t ask for a better place to celebrate!
