IF YOU HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY, AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!
I’m horrified by my experience and feel compelled to warn others. From the moment we arrived, we were told there was a time limit on our table - not exactly a warm welcome. I brushed it off, but things quickly went downhill.
We were handed a tablet to place our order with no guidance. Every time we needed help, the waiter rushed off, leaving us repeatedly calling him over just to confirm if a dish was vegetarian. We are strict vegetarians and ordered fresh tofu, yet we were served fish tofu. Unknowingly, we ate it, trusting the menu and our booking notes, which clearly stated our dietary restrictions.
The staff’s response was defensive, dismissive, and unapologetic. They insisted we had ordered fish tofu, even though it wasn’t on the menu. When we pointed this out, they were confused, offering no explanation. What’s the point of a dietary preferences section if it’s ignored?
This carelessness could be fatal for someone with a fish allergy. A mislabeled dish could trigger anaphylaxis, with severe consequences. The fact that no one acknowledged the seriousness of this mistake is appalling.
To make it worse, Rayan, the staff member who took our order, never even apologised. Instead, he remained defensive. We unknowingly consumed something we are deeply against for religious and ethical reasons, and nothing can undo that.
We can’t change what happened, but we can warn others. This level of negligence is unforgivable.

We have since updated our Weekend Brunch menu items onto Opentable booking system for customers to review the selection. Our weekend buffet also has its own menu selection on our ordering system as well. It appears this instruction might not have been correctly communicated to your party and hence you ordered our usual hotpot dining experience. However as such, it appears the Fish Tofu was a selection made by the customer at the time. We are sorry to hear about your experience and your comments will definitely be relayed to management for improvement.
