We celebrated an anniversary. The staf was really nice and very careful with every detail. The food was delicious and we appreciated that it came really fast.

Beautiful setting with a nice staff. Food was good but I was frustrated that the menu did not truly represent the allergies well. The menu said one thing but the wait staff said another. For a place of this quality I did not expect this. The taste of the food was good but not outstanding. I would go back but now I am a bit reserved. The staff was very kind to us and professional.

We went there for Valentine’s Day and it was fantastic. Great choice, good music and wonderful people. The menu was already fixed and we really liked it

The dishes are a joke given the pricy menu. I would have expected to enjoy a nice experience in such a beautiful building. Ordered a Hamburger with foie gras, and I felt I ate at McDonalds - same bread, however cold meat, meat didn't have any taste :). But hey, I was at The Blank Restaurant and I got to pay 100 times more.

The Food: The food was overall good but there are better options in the city. My wife’s beef cheeks needed a little more braising to achieve the desired tenderness. My lamb chops were tasty, perfectly seasoned and grilled. Cocktails were great. The Space: The restaurant is on the main floor adjacent to the lounge area. Overall, it is a beautiful space to visit during the Christmas holidays. The restored bank architectural features were amazing. However, there is not much separation between the lounge and dining area. A steady stream of people were entering the area to take pictures and selfies leading to a not-so-intimate dining experience, especially at the price point. The service: First, the strange thing. All the hotel employees kept asking “Do you have a reservation?” When I checked into the hotel and told the desk clerk we were going to dine at the restaurant, this was her first response. When went to check in with a bartender (we didn’t see the host) we were asked the same question. Once turned over to the waiter, asked again. However, the restaurant was only about 40% full at 20:30 so I didn’t see the concern unless they were trying to make some sort of faux exclusivity. Note: the restaurant never did go over 50% capacity by the time we left at 22:00 and they were taking walk-ins. And when I booked on OpenTable one day prior every time slot was available. Second thing. Overall service was basic. While this might just be a irritant to me, I hate it when you are seated, given the menus and the server comes back, with pen & pad, three minutes later and starts out with “You ready to order?” This might be marginally appropriate in causal restaurant, but I expect more if they trying for fine dining experience. Please greet me, tell me if there are any specials, if anything is sold out, what is the chef’s signature or most popular dish. A server does not have to go overboard, but a little interaction goes a long way.

We attended for Christmas Eve, I felt the lack of Christmas decorations very sad, once past the tree at the entrance, nothing else to represent Christmas, I felt each table could have had a Christmas decoration. There should have been garlands all around the room. Very disappointed. We choose from the Christmas Special menu. The soup was good. I had the Venison Wellington which was also acceptable, but my son had the rabbit which was shockingly awful, like eating dried up cork. I had to share my venison with him otherwise he would not have eaten any dinner.

This restaurant is a disgrace. I have booked following the link for the advertised Sunday Brunch, only to find out on arrival that there is no Sunday Brunch. And the hostess was even surprised how in earth I didn’t know that the have a brunch only every two weeks not on every Sunday. Regardless, the restaurant lacks any kind of atmosphere, flair or decoration whatsoever, and the menu is very short and basic, not recommended for an a la carte dinner nor lunch. Many more better options available in Bucharest.

We had a very nice time at the restaurant. The staff was very polite and helpful. The food was very tasty & minimalist plating. We've enjoyed our time and I will definitely come back.
