Renata Cafe is a great addition to the University City dining scene. The food is quite good, and the service always comes with a smile. We love dining at this neighborhood gem.

Food was excellent and price was great! One of the diners was a vegetarian and she was very pleased with the variety of choice and great taste.

Small middle eastern restaurant about a mile from Penn campus. Very attentive staff. All four of us enjoyed our appetizers and entrees. No complaints; would definitely go again.

The four of us had a great dinner at Renata's earlier this week. Everything we tried was very good, and because it's a BYOB, the bill was really low!

A little gem! Amazingly good savory small plates: yummy fried eggplant and creamy, fresh hummus were two of our favorites. We walked from Penn campus in 95-degree heat, and we were not disappointed!

The food was nicely spiced. Surprising us with the north Africa smells and taste. The ambiance Was great until a very loud group of girls took over and we could not hear ourselves talking. We enjoyed the food and we will be back. Also the service was friendly and attentive.

Ambiance is slightly exotic university hotspot, BYOB, so the prices are affordable, the service is fine, and the food is generally Greek-Turkish-Lebanese, with a lot of lamb, chickpeas, and capers. I would definitely recommend it.
