Desde 1989, el restaurante Rams Head Tavern ha servido la comida más fresca posible preparando cada elemento del menú desde cero, cada día. Los filetes son de carne de res Black Angus añejada y el pollo, pescado y cangrejo se utilizan siempre frescos (nunca congelados). We had dinner at Rams Head prior to a show we were attending as part of their Premium On Stage Experience which we now take advantage of every time we see a show there. The place was packed but the noise was manageable and our server John(Jon) was friendly, attentive and we were not rushed but made it to our seats 15 minutes before the start of the show. We were also seated next the fireplace which was a plus as it was cold and wet outside. Our meals were very good and as always the Copperhead Ale was excellent. My only criticism has to do with the cost of my meal. I ordered one of the dinner specials, the Drunkn Noodles and the dish was very good and had plenty of shrimp but it was also supposed to have lump crab meat. There was very little crab meat (no lump that I could find) and for the $26 cost I felt there should have been a lot more crab meat. All that said still and wonderful meal and show!

I used to love the restaurant dinner menu (vs. the bar menu) at Rams Head. The food was quality. They have let that go, and the quality of their bar food has gone down. They are upcharging very low-quality, restaurant-factory, pre-made foods (chocolate waffle "special dessert"). The staff is always pleasant, and it's better than eating IN the Onstage theater (I will never do that again; I may attend drag brunch for the gurls, but I won't be eating...) But c'mon, Rams Head...you need to limit your capacity in the theater and step up your food game.

We had a good experience at dinner. Our food was delicious. The waitstaff was very friendly but never checked in and we had to flag down someone twice to get what we needed. Overall we would go back.

Our server was courteous and met our every need! The food was fantastic especially the brie fritters as an appetizer; extremely tasty and rich. The seasonal, amber ale was full bodied and delicious paired with the salmon on the roasted pear salad. The menu prices are very reasonable for the amount of gourmet food served. The ambience of the bar and surrounding seating was relaxed and very enjoyable. We went to celebrate New Year's Eve for lunch and will be back again in the new year!

The food at the Ramshead Tavern is very hit or miss. Our last meal was a miss. It was very crowded and noisy. We were seated in the corridor across from the rest rooms. The food came relatively quickly but my fish and chips were terrible. The fish was cold and the fries were cold and greasy. Our other meal was better but the fries were as bad as mine.
