At the edge of the CBD, in the spectacular 22-hectare waterfront precinct where an old container terminal once stood, discerning foodies can now find some of the city’s best sushi in Barangaroo. Established in 2016, the newest addition to the Zushi restaurant empire is in Sydney’s impressive new harbour foreshore playground. Zushi Barangaroo is both stylish and comfortable, capturing the relaxed style of a typical Japanese bar or izakaya designed by the renowned architect Koichi Takada. We offer premium service complimented with a wide selection of imported beers, Japanese inspired cocktails, and Japanese sake and whisky.
Zushi prides itself on using only carefully sourced local ingredients; the freshest vegetables and sustainable seafood where possible and most of the menu is gluten-free. We are open every day for lunch and dinner, serving delectable sushi, sashimi and share plates. And the glorious harbour views are pretty tasty too.

Awesome, the staff are fantastic and they always greet us ands remember us which is nice. The food is awesome and we keep coming back for more. This is out go-to neighborhood Japanese. Only wish the Sake was not so expensive.

Sushi rolls were lacking flavour. Sushi rice tasted like it wasn't seasoned. Texture was wrong too. Wagyu steak came out lukewarm. Not enough jus. Duck teriyaki was lacking flavour too. Duck skin wasn't rendered down enough. The dish just needed more oomph overall

Great spot for lunch or dinner, right by the water. Beautiful al fresco dining spot. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Food was great and good value for money. Look forward to returning!

I love Zushi! Everytime I have been to either venue they always provide amazing food, generous portions for the tasting menu, and excellent service. Highly recommend!

We entertained friends from the US and had lunch at this place. This is also our first time at Zushi. I must say the service is great - all staff are very attentive, service with a smile and any requests are attended to promptly. The food is also above par, very fresh and flavourful and presentation is visually pleasing. The noise from the music and the other customers can be a bit distracting sometimes but not much of an issue. I give an overall tick of approval.
