Welcome to Zucca Gastrobar! In addition to our handmade pastas and brick oven pizzas, our dishes are inspired by classic Italian ingredients and preparations.

Our extensive menu holds something for everyone. From inspired small plates and antipasti boards featuring a selection of salumi and cheeses, to entrees made with free-range poultry, sustainable seafood, and all natural meats. Our large selection of vibrant salads are made with local organic greens and seasonal produce.

Like many Italians, we believe that the best times are had over a glass of wine or an aperitivo. We offer an extensive wine by the glass selection as well as a comprehensive reserve bottle list, with varietals from Italy and beyond. Our craft cocktail menu offers classic drinks with a contemporary spin.

Westport Wednesdays are the best. So many choices for apps, entrees & dessert. All for under $30. Food was delicious, staff were incredibly helpful in providing suggestions to avoid foods i cannot eat. Noise level could be toned down. Definitely will return

The food was absolutely delicious. Huge menu with options for everyone. Beautiful and modern atmosphere with a very manageable noise level hard to find these days. The service was unlike no other, both at the table and after. Another guest accidentally took my jacket from a coatrack. Because I was visiting from out of town and leaving early the next morning, someone from the restaurant drove to the person’s house and dropped it at my hotel. I told them many times it was absolutely fine for the person to mail it to my home but that wasn’t good enough for them. Unprecedented customer service.

The drink menu was varied and creative. We enjoyed our cocktails very much! We love when restaurants flavor their butter, which was done here. A nice herby butter for the warm bread. Very good! We had the octopus and salad with fried goat cheese to start. My husband ate every morsel of his octopus! My salad was quite large! Could have been an entree. It was delicious! For entrees we got braised short ribs and seafood risotto. The short ribs were cooked perfect and were delicious. The risotto was well seasoned and the seafood was cooked perfectly. For dessert we shared a creme brulee cocktail and dessert! The dessert was fantastic. The drink was good, but a bit on the strong side. Still we drank it all! It's quite a vast menu, so we will be back to sample more another time. Our waiter was very attentive, but if he was busy the other waiters came by to check if we needed anything.

Almost everything was perfect - service, dinner, cocktails. The only disappointment was dessert - underwhelming.

The food and wine were very good. We shared a pizza for appetizer (requested without cheese) and I had the eggplant rollatini appetizer as my main dish and my husband had the salmon. Portions are quite large (we couldn’t finish any of the above). The Salmon was by far the winner of the night. Service was friendly. It’s a bit of a scene and a little loud but not overwhelming. Music is good, contributing to the sense of fun and being out for the evening. We’ll definitely go back.

This is our favorite restaurant in Westport! Great food...great atmosphere! The pasta special I had the other night was one of the best meals I ever had! Hats off to the chef!
