ZEST is the second venture for the owners of Grille 3501, an upscale casual restaurant which has sustained continued growth and success for over 20 years. Located on the 6th floor of the Gateway Building on the South Side of Bethlehem, ZEST has had the honor of being awarded the Lehigh Valley's favorite rooftop of 2021, favorite atmosphere of 2020, and favorite new restaurant of 2019. Chef Justin Cogan brings New American cuisine to life with signature dishes including braised beef short ribs and crab & mango spring rolls. The views whether you choose to sit indoors or outdoors are unparalleled. The 130 seat balcony lets you take in the sights of the southside like the steel stacks, Fahy and Hill to Hill bridges, and Bethlehem city hall in the distance. ZEST also features a partially open kitchen design, large 20 seat bar, and an indoor space with panoramic accordion sliding windows that let you experience the best of both worlds.

    Me encanto el ambiente , el servicio el camarero fue muy muy gentil , nos aconsejó acerca de los platos y sus ingredientes al igual q las bebidas , el brunch estuvo riquísimo yo pedí unos CAPRESE BENEDICT y que ricuraaaaa y la mimosa estuvo riquísima igual !!! Mis compañeros pidieron unos huevos rancheros y también quedaron fascinados con las bebidas y los tragos de verdad que me gustaría que este servicio de brunch estuviera en la semana también pero dicen que en la semana es flojo !! Pero si pueden pasarse un domingo por allá PERFECTAMENTE RECOMENDADO AL 100%

    We asked to be rated by the window and they said they were all booked, but reality was they staff didn’t want to clean the clean section that was closing on 30 minutes. We went at 130pm on a Sunday and felt rushed out the door. Waiter was hovering trying to get our order before the kitchen closed 20 minutes after we arrived. If the restaurant closes at 2, don’t take 130 reservations. Due to the view i want to go back for a happy hour in a Friday but this visit is making me second guess

    It was my husbands and my birthday and we were given the corner table at the windows. Best table in the house. The meals we got were superb and we will be back!

    The food from the appetizers (crab and mango spring rolls and crispy chicken dumplings) to the main courses (seared salmon and featured butcher’s cut -strip steak) were well prepared, presented, and tasty. The trio dessert was generous and all three desserts were tasty and varied. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant as was the waitstaff. The only negative (and it’s not really the restaurant’s fault) was the St Patrick’s party at the nearby bar. Towards the middle of our dinner, it was getting a bit out of hand. Two very loud women, who obviously had far too much to drink seemed intent on broadcasting to all of us what was on their minds. Most unpleasant.
