   Food was fantastic as always!! Enjoyed the beautiful gardens. Had our granddaughter and she loved the flowers and the Turtle Creek Farm Truffled Mushrooms Vol Au Vent!!! Smoked Duck Salad is always on point.

   An unexpected and refreshing change to the standard cuisine and atmosphere of the majority of the restaurants in the area. Quality ingredients sourced from uncompromising establishments. The menu isn't extensive, but creative and enough variation to interest most. We had Sunday brunch. My wife had the Croque Madame with Fries and I had the Tavern Breakfast. Both were very good, and a break from the standard fare. We were impressed by the bartender's skill and creativity...worth the price of admission. We'll be back to try the dinner menu. Service was excellent, and the staff was super friendly and attentive without being "too" attentive. Atmosphere was very authentic "Hill Country". Recommended.

   What a great experience. The food was delicious, which is an understatement. Service by our server and the owners was caring and impeccable. It made us valued as customers. Our selections included Texas Ranger and Lemon Drop cocktails, escargot, pork belly bao appetizers, chicken cordon bleu, lamb Josh curry entrees and a puff pastry with a fruit compote and custard type fillings. We plan to return soon. Be aware that what we had and the sample menu on the website may change. And be sure to make reservations especially if going Friday to Sunday.

   What an amazing place in such an unlikely country town to find a French restaurant. This was some of the best food and drinks we have ever had. The berry mille-feuille was as good as it is in Paris. Cannot recommend enough. Make reservations or wait util after 8:30p

   Zanzenberg Tavern is a gem in the Hill Country. The food is yummy delicious, the staff outstanding, the owners are amazing. It has become my favorite restaurant.

    Best cocktails in the Hill Country. Great outdoor and indoor dining. Food never disappoints. Just don't sit under the HVAC vents.
