Delicious flavorful well-made food, friendly staff! I don’t know who the usual crowd is, but on valentine’s day the crowd was almost all under-25.

Food was pretty bad, service was ok but took forever to get our drinks. We had food on the table before 2 cocktails. Really suggestive photos in bathroom? Just overall a weird vibe. Gyoza was phenomenal though.

We loved everything about the experience here. We were a group of six and ordered a party boat and one of the appetizer boxes and a few other appetizers couple of cocktails. Everything was delicious and perfectly presented and the check was reasonable @ $45/pp. We will definitely be back !

Dined at 5 pm on a Monday evening, so let that be your guide on “noise level.” Very easy to talk across the table. Several tables were occupied by other customers. Service impeccable. Food delicious - tuna maki, seafood kimchi udon, beef bi bim bap, and sweet potato cut roll. Beer and saki. Cozy, and feels authentic. Every table but ours were Japanese customers. Go!

Wonderful waitress who was so sweet and made great suggestions, food portions were so big for the amount of plates you received with the prix-fixe deal. Value was excellent, although they were out of a couple of items I wanted to try. Would definitely come back again, casual vibe and not too loud to have a conversation.

The sushi was tasty, fresh, and well priced. I liked the assortment of options as well. I was looking for an affordable date night to satisfy a sushi craving and this restaurant was so cute. It’s in a quiet neighborhood in south end which was also a plus. It wasn’t crowded and it was easy to have a conversation. I will be back!
