                                                                                            We saw a viral video on TikTok on how great the food is and felt for it. Worst dining experience and service. The waiter was unprofessional, the food was horrible. The truffle Mac taste like it was from a box, the shrimp cocktail’s was stale, the wedge salad was frozen , the fried rice wasn’t fully cooked. The steam spinach and the crab were excellent. Cold cappuccino and expresso. The place is in serious need of a Manager. Beautiful setting only 3 tables were occupied on a Thursday night!

                                                                                            Had the grilled octopus, porterhouse, steak, mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes all were excellent. The service was four out of five as they forgot to put cutlery on the table multiple times and to bring out my soft drink when I asked.

Service was great and the food excellent, a bit on the expensive side but it was worth it. it was $700+ for 4 people, 2 drinks each and we had the tomahawk steak and a few other things. This place seems to be a vibe, it was busy for a Sunday... Would def go back on a Friday or Saturday evening.

                                                                                            This used to be my favorite restaurant. First time back since April of 2024 due Healy issues. Went back for my birthday & new manger and lower prices which is good, but manager was nasty in the beginning because I mentioned an old worker he made it appoint that he’s now the manager he was extremely nasty, but by the end of the night he came around. Lots of food are no longer on the menu and due to the cheaper cost they gave less food. Sadly I won’t go back which is sad because I had my birthday party there two years ago referred lots of people there. While I understand they cut the prices of the food, why remove so much off the menu and give such little amount of food. The clean up crew don’t give you time to finish your meal they are picking up while you’re still eating. I had to tell them please I’m still eating. So much change and not for the better. Really disappointed in the service and the meal.

                                                                                            Maybe Z works for the IG & TikTok crowd but it’s certainly not for everyone. It’s definitely not a restaurant I would return to. Reasons: - at these prices I would expect better dishes and options. I’ve had better Calamari at my local Long Island Diner! And free advice: if you can’t see the actual tentacle ends (just rings) in your fried Calamari then you’re getting some bagged commercial stuff. -Prices: a nearly $500 meal for my wife and I was ridiculously UNDERWHELMING. The Pinot I ordered by the glass was a joke. -Service: the Waiter and busboys really seemed to be genuinely trying their best but was uninformed. I don’t normally write reviews and I am not a ‘snob’, but I would not return to Z. My wife and I kept thinking that we could’ve eaten at about 3 excellent restaurants for the check at Z. Also: adding on the requisite 20% gratuity($60) and then having ‘additional gratuity’ on the next line is a slap in the face.

                                                                                            We were a party of six, we had a great time. I didn’t love my dish. I had the carbonara, but everyone else’s food was amazing. It was a great time lovely ambience.
