Ye Olde Punchbowl Inn is certainly Ye Olde, even by the standards of British country pubs. The building has been there for at least 700 years – nobody knows exactly how long it has stood on what is now Ludlow Road – and has been a pub since 1740, serving the traveller, the public of Bridgnorth and all others who entered their doors. The menu now is classically British, with a full AGA carvery, a gastro menu and a full wine list that takes in the best of local ingredients. Reserve a table and gather up your whole crew for a meal that has stood the test of time.

Lovely pub, greeted and seated promptly, attentive service, and absolutely delicious food. Well presented, vast range of dishes and fantastic value for money The best carvery we have had in a very long time. We live a considerable distance away and thoroughly recommend this venue to visitors.

I've gone to Ye Olde Punchbowl many times over the years and have always had good meals there. Today the carvery was not up to it's usual standard. The food wasn't as hot as normal, maybe as we were a later sitting. The roast potatoes were dry and hard. The beef was a bit on the dry side as well. The veg was lovely, the Biscoff Cheesecake was amazing! The service and friendliness of the staff is always exceptional.

Food was delicious and everything was great until I went to pay for our meal at the bar Nobody would acknowledge my presence as was stood there for quite sometime, I understand it was busy and there were a lot of orders to process but both staff members failed to even speak to me I found this, as time passed very frustrating and I left the restaurant disappointed that something so simple just to acknowledge me did not happen Customer service is so important from start to finish and I hope that some additional training will follow my comments. Thank you

Very disappointed with the food unfortunately it was like slop definitely will not be coming back I only had vegetables as I'm a vegetarian.
