   Only negatives were that the seating was a bit cramped and prices were a bit of of whack. Chicken and waffles were outstanding but $48. Certainly shareable for two though. We’re actually shared for 4 and did a few other dishes. All were very good.

   The room is pleasant and high-ceilinged with a second level balcony for additional seating. The bourbon selection is impressive. The cornbread is scrumptious. The ribs fall off the bone, and the Llewelyn's Chicken is wonderful (and a huge portion) although I would have preferred to have been able to order all dark meat. The corn was also very good. Service was helpful and timely. Our old-fashioned cocktails with Rittenhouse were $22, so be forewarned. The major minus here was the music. A weird mix of 70's/80's to current music, and far too loud with the speakers bass set to max. Not conducive to either upbeat background or conversation (we asked to be moved from the lower level to upstairs where the noise was less intrusive).

   My girlfriends and I went here for a little dinner & we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was good and the service was top notch. Our server answers all of our questions & have some great suggestions. I had the shrimp and grits and it was delicious! We’ll definitely be back!

   The waiter was good the food was excellent as always they have great chicken it would be great if you offered cornbread dressing but the macaroni and cheese and collard greens are very good. It’s a great restaurant I don’t think enough people know about it but it has become one of my favorites

    Great ambiance, good vibes! Chose Yardbird for a double date because none in the group had been before and we all enjoyed it. The chicken and waffles is what they’re known for, but honestly it was just okay. The mac and cheese was so bland. It tastes like children’s Mac and cheese. No flavor at all. The lemon rosemary chicken tho??? So good! The popcorn shrimp and biscuits were also yummy.
