Xacalli is a Chef Driven Modern Mexican Restaurant that highlights regional Mexican cuisine. Located in historical mining town of Silverado Canyon, in eastern Orange County next to the cities of Rancho Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, Lake Forest. Beautiful drive from Orange, Irvine and Tustin.

The community of Silverado with her majestic mountains, state designated scenic highway is a hidden gem located at the boundaries of Cleveland National Forest.

Xacalli's aim is to bring people and food together with authentic dishes that are modern and visually beautiful as well as entice your taste buds. We serve plates with the intention of sharing family style. Whether at the bar or in our dining room, we aim to showcase our passion for service excellence. Executive Chef Vincent Espinoza sources quality ingredients to create a seasonal menu alongside a craft bar. The food is excellent, prices are fair, and the ambience is pretty cool. The only issue I had with this restaurant was the service. Because of a food allergy I was told by our server that they were unable to remove a certain item from the dish which was surprising to me considering it was an easy item to remove so I went with another item on the menu. Our server also seemed very unsure with some of the questions we had. But overall we had a positive experience and enjoyed the food.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant as of right now. The ceviche was absolutely the best I have ever had! So light and delicious. The shrimp and beef tacos were so amazing. The shrimp tacos had fried cheese inside and the seasoning was something I have never had! Magic I suppose! The super spicy hot sauce topped it off. My wife had the beef and it was fork tender chunks of beef. The staff explained the menu! Wow! That is amazing! I knew I would be returning! Thanks for the fun brunch

Outstanding on every level! The service was fantastic and the food was flawless. Amazingly flavorful. This restaurant is doing everything right; it was a delight to dine here and we cannot wait to return. What a hidden gem!
