Dine from our Bistro Menu for some lovely dishes at amazing value. 2 courses for £17 or 3 for £20. It’s available from 12 until 6:30 from Monday – Thursday and before 4pm on Fridays. We’ve worked hard with our chefs to strip things back and keep things really simple. It’s good, hearty, tasty stuff served to you by a team who love what they do. And sometimes you don’t need anything more than that. Our menu changes monthly and is subject to availability, please go to our website or check social media for updates.

As a meat eater, I was ecstatic. The food was amazing. My vegetarian friend however, was massively underwhelmed. The chickpea starter tasted like deep fried fresh air and the broccoli main course lacked any depth or indeed taste. The last two visits for my veggie friends have been a let down and after years of eating at Wreck, they won’t be accompanying me again, which is a great shame! With the increasing amount of people eating a plant based diet, there ought to be no excuse for a lack of flavour in dishes at a restaurant of this calibre. They need to up their game to keep loyal patrons like me coming back.

Hi Gillian Thank you for bringing this to our attention , I shall look into all the dishesd to see what was lacking in terms of the flavouring . You can rest assured that the new Spring Menu has so delightful Vegeterian dishes with loads of flovour . Please do not let this put you off from returning to Wreck . Gorgeous lunch , both in looks and in the eating, Bistro lunch menu is great value , but we opted for the normal menu as there is more choice . Was a quiet Monday late lunch , the restaurant was not busy . The food was cooked perfectly and well presented . We were undecided on a wine and we were offered a taster which helped our choice . Staff were attentive but not intrusive. We have been a few times and have always enjoyed our meals . Looking forward to our next visit !

Best Roast Beef Sunday lunch ever, always amazing food wine and service. Lovely ambience my favourite restaurant. If you haven’t been your missing out 🥳

We were staying in the main city center of Liverpool but decided to walk down to Wreck, just about a 10-15 minute walk. We sat downstairs in the corner, which was quiet but nice for just the two of us. We shared the beetroot and blue cheese arancini which was unusual but amazing. For mains, we both had fish - for me the sea bream and for my wife the halibut. Both were excellent as were the desserts and service. I’d recommend going for a very nice dining experience.

Very good food and atmosphere. The main room upstairs is the best place to be, avoid the back room which seems to be an afterthought

Although a busy Friday lunch service, Wreck staff handled my last minute additional guest with no fuss. Excellent customer service throughout from the front of house, bar and waiting staff. Attentive but not intrusive. It’s a lovely dining room. Large dual aspect windows make it bright but cosy at the same time. A gentle but lively buzz, with an intimate feeling. Cocktails were outstanding, beautifully made and delicious. The “Wreckspresso Martini” was silky smooth with a stand out coffee flavour. Menu was varied and interesting. The food beautifully presented and tasty. The goat’s cheese starter was sharp and salty, combining endive and black olives. Might have had an extra minute in the oven for me but a fine combination of ingredients. The featherblade of beef was beautifully cooked and generous in portion size. Very slightly under seasoned for my taste but the beetroot ketchup made up for that. It was delicious! Definitely the upper end of “bistro”, reflected in the fair pricing.

First time dining here . The food was amazing. The waiting on staff were friendly and engaging. Cant fault anything. Would recommend the feather blade beef it was exceptional. Booked for my husbands birthday and they brought out some beautiful fudge with our desserts. Would definitely book again .
