Located on High St in the heart of historic Old Worthington, Worthington Tavern is a vibrant, locally owned restaurant, bar, and covered patio. Our timeless space inspires a joyful atmosphere and honors Worthington's history.

Our menu features made-from-scratch familiar favorites- all from the finest ingredients. Our bar enlivens your experience with a robust selection of original cocktails, great spirits, craft beer, and enticing wines. Whether it's brunch with old friends, dinner with family, or a night out celebrating, we look forward creating memorable experiences together.

Groups of 8+ guests be rung on a single check and will be subject to an automatic 20% gratuity

Despite having reservations and tickets for the Jazz event , we sat well past many open 4 tops in the main dining room, into the farthest booth tucked in the back corner of the winterized patio. I had to wear my coat to stay comfortable. When I mentioned that we had tickets to see the band, the hostess replied, "You'll be able to hear them from here," as she walked away. The food and drinks were wonderful, but as with the last time, the server was poorly trained. He'd come to get food and drink orders but left empty glasses and piles of plates. I had everything stacked up neatly at the end of the table to make it obvious and easy, but nope. He just left them there. This was my second and final time trying Worthington Tavern.

I had the most amazing experience last night! The drink list was incredible and they had some amazing Mocktails which is truly important for me, since I’ve been sober for so long. When I got worried about the wine butter sauce, I asked the waiter if they could possibly cook it without wine (I hate being that person but I’m very paranoid) and they ended up making my pasta with an Alfredo sauce instead - which I begged them to up charge me for, because I didn’t want to be a pain. But they were so sweet and so accommodating, the food was INCREDIBLE and we sat out in the heated patio area. Amazing experience and the jazz was such a lovely touch. 10/10!

Loved the venue, but was underwhelmed with the food. Based on other reviews was expecting better than usual food. The smash burger was not truly a smash burger. Thicker than most, not crispy, and really not seasoned. Others in my party weren’t overly happy with their choices, but didn’t taste their food and will not review. In addition to my burger, the steak fries were soggy and “blah” tasting. I am hoping that maybe the main chef was off duty (it was a Monday night) and possibly these misses were because of this reason.

the staff was excellent considering that the restaurant had over 100 reservation for the day. Service and personal were great.

I wanted to listen to some jazz music in particular and saw there would be a jazz band playing at the Worthington Tavern and decided to give them a listen. My expectations were low going in and when the band started out slow musically, they turned things up to a level that blew me and my date away! The band consisting of a Saxophone, Electric Piano and Drums, started playing smooth jazz numbers and to my surprise all were excellent musicians, so much so that I would have paid a cover to see and ended up adding to their tip jar. The food was tasty and the service was fast and attentive. Overall it was an amazing evening for me and my date!
