   Had a fabulous meal and my GF nut roast was the best I’ve ever tasted . They always cater for all dietary needs at the Worlington Hall Hotel. GF lager is also available here . I cant fault this place . The meal setting ambience and staff are just amazing There was a party of 4 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal . It was the perfect way to spend our Sunday afternoon . Thank you

   Excellent Sunday roast choice of three meats, good amount of roast potatoes, parsnips and vegetables, huge Yorkshire. Very good value.

   Absolutely lovely inside you truly have out your stamp on it. The service was on point. Nothing too big or small, very friendly and accommodating The food was outstanding amazing sizes. Can’t wait to come back again

   Food was amazing but a little too much salt evening and breakfast . Hotel amazing 5 stars would definitely go back again . The waiter that served us was very attentive and professional and the breakfast staff very entertaining and polite . Venison cooked to perfection steak the best we have had great stay thank you x Mr and Mrs Phipps we will recommend to others and return again .

   We visited the Worlington Hall on Wednesday night. The staff were exceptional, and nothing was to much trouble, the food was amazing, highest quality and freshly cooked to the highest standards. The surroundings were exceptional, the decor was in keeping with the property. The experience was exceptional and we will be returning in a regular basis. All I can say if you havnt been I guarantee your missing out on a stunning dining experience.

   A warm welcome, friendly, attentive staff and very well considered and cooked food. We enjoyed the bar after our food and loved the cards and games amongst the comfortable seating by the fire. We booked late on a Sunday and the beef had sold out and the cauliflower cheese had been eaten by other diners. We’ll aim to book earlier next time.

   Disappointing compared to other visits. Limited choice of Sunday roast as no beef available, no cauliflower sauce and potatoes were difficult to eat. Would not take the option of a 4pm dining slot again as food was miss calculated for the number of people in the restaurant. We will try to book earlier in future. Surprisingly disappointed.

   Workington Hall from the outside is very beautiful as are the grounds. We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival but soon started to feel rushed. We were on a late lunch reservation and felt like the staff could go home as soon as we left. We turned up early to have a pre lunch drink which was very nice however we were presented with the menus in the bar area, the choice of meals was very limited and also a couple of items weren’t available) after making a difficult decision on what to have we were quickly asked to order. The jazz music was playing in the bar area and the dining room which spoilt the ambience as it was far too loud ( I’m not a lover of jazz music, I’m not sure many people are ) but there was no getting away from it. The dining room was beautiful and bright but our food arrived quickly as did our bottle of wine , and the waiter kept topping us up , too much too soon , he wasn’t attentive, we felt rushed to hurry up and finish. Both our starters were accompanied with dry bread and our main courses were quite tasteless, my burgers were over cooked and felt as if they had been warmed up! I can honestly say it’s one on my worst dining experiences I have had and we won’t be returning to Worlington hall .

    Food was great and nicely presented. Service was good. Good Value February as 1/2 price mains with 2 courses was excellent value.
