   I booked an afternoon tea service. Was not seated at the woodlands, they put me downstairs. I sat for over 30 mins with no service, once I received The tea, I did not get my food for another 25 minutes. I was On time to my reservation, the staff seemed extremely overwhelmed when the restaurant was not very busy.

   I booked a table for dinner over the Christmas period. I got email and text message confirmation for this booking. When I rang to confirm, I was told that the restaurant was closed for a private function. I followed up by email and got no response at all. Very poor experience.

   Dining was not in the upstairs Woodlands restaurant as booked and expected but was in downstairs bar area. This was disappointing

   We both had a lovely dinner at the Woodlands Restaurant during our 2-night stay at the Glenview Hotel (18 and 19 Oct 2024). There were a great choices of food and the food was absolutely gorgeous. The services from the all the staffs were brilliant and very professional. Highly recommended.

   HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Absolutely fab everything about it. It was my first visit to the restaurant and I’ll be back- absolutely first class food and first class service. Waiters were very efficient and very chatty and nice. House red wine was fab. Very good value for money I had the 3 course set dinner.

   A delicious meal at the Woodlands restaurant for our anniversary. The starter, main course and dessert were very professionally presented. Would return again for a special occasion.

   The restaurant booked was not open so we were seated in a dining hall. Food was ok. Room was too brightly lit.

    My family and I visited the restaurant for Father's Day, which featured a 2 or 3 course set menu. The options were varied, which catered to all our preferences. Furthermore, there was a kids menu for my toddler. The food itself was absolutely superb in presentation, quality, flavour and size! My parents are admittedly fussy eaters, but they had nothing but compliments for each course! To top it all off, the staff were so friendly, accommodating and a genuine highlight to the afternoon. I will be back, cannot recommend this restaurant enough!! (The view was lovely too!)
