Join us in our renowned Wolfgang Puck Restaurant, located in the Brownwood Hotel & Spa Resort to experience a Culinary tapestry of world class cuisine. When seated at our Chef’s Table, you will be treated to a five course tasting menu, paired with three world class wines. Upon letting us know of any allergies or tolerances you may have our Chef will begin to create your unique experience. If you choose to add the wine pairing feature for an additional $30, Chef will meticulously pair three wines with your courses. Prepare to enjoy the only Chef’s Table in town! This was our 5th or 6th visit. Up until now, we've always been pleased. However, this visit was very disappointing. There were 6 of us, and at least 4 complained that their food was cold. Also, the service was quite slow. The fire alarm went off in the middle of dinner. We were told this was a very unusual event, although the fact that none of the staff reacted to it seemed to indicate otherwise. One of the bottles of wine we ordered was incorrectly marked at too low a price, although the waitress agreed to only have us charged at the advertised price.

Food was great but the cucumber salad could have used a little salt (Personal preference). Waitress brought me these huge wooden grinders that felt so out of place it seemed like a Saturday Night Live Comedy sketch. Plus they didn’t work very well. For such a wonderful place with some of the best food in The Villages, you would think they could provide salt and pepper in mills that worked well and fit in with the decor. Waitress said that orders from “Above” got rid of the little tiny glass shakers they were using. Seems like a bad decision that takes away from the food quality and ruins the decor and the ambiance.

The sticky ribs were greasy short ribs. I would not recommend them. The pineapple mojito was not good. However, the crab cakes were quite tasty.

We were seated quickly upon arrival. Friendly host. Friendly table service. Melinda served us. She helped us choose a nice wine after consulting with one of the restaurants, wine experts. Boris checked on us to make sure everything was as expected. We had a pleasant experience and will definitely be back. This was our Third visit.

Had 8pm reservations, arrived at 750 no hostesses. Had to wait about 10 min or so to check in. Waited 15 mins before sitting at the bar. At the 30 min late point I went up to another person at the desk(turns out she was the assistant mgr) asked about our 8pm seats, she said there were 2 a head of us. They sat about 4 or 5 other couples ...still no tezt or calling of our name at the 45 min late pointe we decided to order food at the bar. I will say the bartender Matt was wonderful. They continued to seat others and nothing ...finally got a text we'll after we had ordered food. I later the assistant Mgr asked how it was. I said it would have been better if we would have gotten a table in stead of the hostesses seating friends and regulars a head of everyone else. She made excuses about the computers going down and that's why they were an hour behind....I call bs on that excuse. We will not go back. No apologies no offer to buy us a drink ..nothing it's sad that it appears as if they have some horrible staffing issues and that the only thing that could be offered was an excuse.
